Chat with US Dividend miles execs
Just saw the announcement that FT is sponsoring a live chat with US Dividend Miles execs this Thur, just before the happy hour. Maybe we should try to find a wi-fi hot spot and 'call in' our questions. Any opinions...

My office isn't too far from the happy hour (though not walking distance or anything, happy hour is in Rosslyn and I'm just the other side of Clarendon). I figure I'll be online for the chat and then go to the happy hour, unless folks have an idea of getting together for it earlier.

I'd be in for that except since I work in Bethesda & I have a deadline on Thursday (though I hope to finish up by Wednesday), I doubt I'll be able to make it back to Ballston to let my dog out in time & then go to Clarendon, then to Rosslyn - but I'll give it a shot if I finish up early enough & traffic isn't too bad. I don't think that the KBM has wireless internet in the lobby, but they do have it in the guest rooms if I recall correctly.
I'm guessing I'll have the same question as everyone else though, so maybe you can ask it on my behalf - what'll happen to miles? ;) |

See you all around 7.30 - I have spoken with one of my contacts at the Key Bridge - Since it's a bar area, they can't guarantee anything, but they'll try to hold us tables for about 15 people around 7.30 & parking will be taken care of as well. The parking garage is behind the hotel (entrance is off of 29) & Pitchers is the bar on the main floor in the lobby area.
See you all tonight around 7.30. Wahooflyer - Take the metro to the Rosslyn stop - when getting out, walk towards the river & Georgetown - you'll see the hotel - it's literally on the VA end of the Key Bridge. See y'all there! |
Sorry I missed you guys... the happy hour got trumped by a review session for an Economics exam tomorrow (I'm in my first year at G'town's MBA program) and didn't make it out of there until about 10:30pm. So now I'm back home so I can study some more. Whee.
