Wish I could make it to the happy hour this coming Saturday but I'll be in Seattle. |
That weekend works for me - but normally, we do try to do the get togethers on Thursday nights (or weeknights) - the one this weekend is in addition to the regular January Happy Hour.

See you folks in a day or so. ^
From sunny Puerto Rico ... totally free of 3 foot snow dumps. :) |
Damn, we really wanted to make this lunch, but it is looking extremely doubtful now as Lisa has bronchitis.

Well the weather for Saturday should be sunny here too! :) You'll just need to knock off about 50 degree F. of your local Puerto Rico temp to get IAD's. :D See you tomorrow. ^ |

My First DC Happy Hour!
Count me in on the 29th. Just got lucky and looked at this thread for the first time in weeks, I thought I had missed it for January.
Reston town center map: #55 is Rio Grande http://www.restontowncenter.com/map.html Directions: http://www.restontowncenter.com/directions.html It is COLD here (midday it is 26 F). Forcast for tomorrow is sunny, low 25 F, high of 38 F (I hope!). Reston town center should be nice to walk around. If you need transport let me know! Edit: The better half may be coming with. Probably wants to know what kind of craziness drives a person to fly to Munich for 3 hours Sunday night... |
Oz - See you guys at noon @ the Sheraton!
|
I'll see you guys at Rio Grande as well - I haven't made reservations or anything like that...has anyone? Or shall I just call them & let them know we're expecting a party of about 10+ people under the name Flyertalk?
If someone else already has or wants to take care of this, please post here... |
Someone get there early!
I called the Rio Grande, no reservations or call aheads accepted. First come first serve.
They can set up tables for at least 12. So if someone can get there at noon (I can't) and carve out a section, that would be good. |

OT: A quick heads up to DC-area FT'ers that use BWI!
Airport FastPark at BWI has some good coupon deals available right now - see this thread for info!
