Date's set for 9/23

I've updated the first page - 9/23 at 7:30ish at Pitcher's Bar at the Key Bridge Marriott - it's about 2 blocks from the Rosslyn Station & they have a parking garage (as far as I know, parking can be validated at the bar - but not 100% postive). Please post if you can make it!

Thanks!

Jazz Brunch @ Market Inn, Sunday, Sept. 12...

Doing a MR next Sunday and my mission will consist of hitting the Market Inn champagne jazz brunch. If any DC FTers may be interested, it could be fun. Here's the website:

BTW, I've been to this place several times before and never been disappointed. (And yes, OF COURSE it is on iDine!) :D

I'd be glad to come on the evening of the 23rd. I live in Charlottesville, so it's a bit of a trek up to Rosslyn, but don't mind the drive since I fly out of IAD just about every week. Good thing is I'll be going in the reverse rush-hour direction on Route 29 and I-66 at that time of day so there shouldn't be much traffic.

See you all then!

I doubt that'll be the case - I work in Bethesday & live in Arlington, 66 is often backed up from 495 into the city, even in the evenings. Just be forewarned - it's often times hit or miss!

Are newbies allowed to join the DC flyertalk happy hour?

Only if they buy the first round! ;)

But after a year on FT & 400+ posts, I'd hardly call you a newbie!

Ah, but I didn't really start posting and reading until a few months ago. :D

Superb.... I'm going to see if I can make the happy hour. Would be fun to meet some FT'ers!

Thanks for the tip, bhatnasx...I might just park in Vienna and go Metro instead.
