another double-digiter here. Who needs OMNI, anyway? That's what every other messageboard in the universe is for!

I used to have this, not any more.

I'm in this club. I read much more than I post.

I still can't get to that magic 100. Must be my destiny to remain here forever.

I do the same thing. I definitely hesitate to post a Q on certain forums as there are regular posters that just live to post "did you use the search feature" or post links to old threads with information you are looking for. The information I get on these forums is so valuable though!

If you are referring to the Hilton forum in particular, don’t worry.

Post any question you want. I want you to get the answers for which you are seeking.

If you post something that belongs somewhere else, I will move it for you.

I am currently in the process of organizing the Hilton forum primarily so that information will be easier for which to search.

If you need assistance with the Search function on FlyerTalk, just ask.

Ah-HA! So Community is where everyone hangs out when they're not complaining!

Just curious, do most FTers post from hotel rooms on business trips?

As per certain recent airline ff program changes, there will be some changes to the 100 post club
  1. Members who do not post within 3 days will lose their membership.

This enhancement will provide a more exclusive atmosphere for the remaining
members of the 100 post club.

  2. Members will not be allowed to sell posts to members striving for Flyer Talk Evangelist status.

Any such transgression of the rules will result in the 100 poster being gifted
Flyer Talk Evangelist status and the evangelist wanabe being sent to the 100 post club.

We trust that all members will appreciate these new guidelines and how FT continually endeavors to enhance your talking experience.

No, I wasn't referring to the Hilton forum, people are not as prickly there as they are a few other forums I read. Thanks for the invitation to post though! I may have questions later.

Does OMNI open up after 100 posts or is it 90?

jbtniros Mar 10, 2007 7:35 pm

i think somebody should start an under double digit club for the eternal lurkers out there, you know who you are ;)

divine Mar 10, 2007 8:10 pm

I'm here too.

By the time I get info, it's usually already on the board. Might be due to the west coast time difference or I'm just not as connected as most of those who post frequently.

These are great forums.

Trying to hit triplie digits...still.

I shall never make 180 (at the rate I am going)

I have gained invaluable knowledge concerning travel in the years I have been a member of this site; but, I am so hesitant to post because of the caustic replies I get many times. Most folks would not post if they weren't seeking answers!!
Love the forum anyway.

Sweetone Mar 11, 2007 3:38 pm

I thought I would post a brief message before I no longer qualify as a member of this club. For those timid souls that are afraid of the put downs, here's my 2 cents. Just post when you have some answers to provide. I love the help I've received and just hope that I can return the favor someday.
