So many questions and slowly finding the answers!! Any advice where to start would be great!! (Yes, I already read the FAQ's ;-) )

FFNewbie 71, welcome to FT! We were all newbies once. This community is strong because, no matter our experience, we're all learning from each other. Here are three suggestions: 1) see how FT is organized on a "global" level. That is, what forums are in the Miles and Points family, which in the Travel and Dining group and which in Community, etc. Look at what's posted in the different areas. 2) Note the "sticky" threads at the top of forums that interest you. They may contain most helpful info. 3) If you'd like to get some "one-on-one" guidance, e-mail or send a private message (PM) to a moderator or experienced member with your posting questions or "where do I go to find out this" Qs. Happy travels and a great FT experience!

I'm not too far behind. I'll be showing up there with some free Avis rentals as soon as I post a few more times.

I would still consider me a 'newbie' ...in the way of posting. Even though I became a member in Jan. 2005. There STILL so much to read and to know on this site. By the time I get to read all of the topics/posts, ... a few know airlines will be gone or have merged.

Boeing would be start building a new jet: Boeing 800 version -400. And Airbus change their name to AirJets and start building a new plane to carry 1000 people. Also the new plane will carry 10 trucks. And who knows...the FAA will give the okay for long range airplanes to have one BIG jet engine!!! :p

Not to mention...will I ever reach the required 180 posts/days to get in OMNI. :)

Who knows.. I might be old and grey playing the new Sony PSP XX in the year 2030. :)

I guess I too a member of this elite group. I actually spend so much time on planes I never find time to actually post. Maybe oneday the flying will slow down and the posting will go up or .....maybe not.

My count going up, but at 31 now, so can still be a member here! Activity highly dependent on free time..

Although I spend far too much time on FT reading the UA and NW forums (I cannot explain for the life of me why I find myself reading posts titled "SFO-SYD cancelled today", as I've never flown that route and have no plans to do so in the future), I hadn't ventured down to the community forums...but I'm glad I did, because it turns out there is this special little club for people just like me! After all, human beings have the need to belong! :)

I finally graduated out of the under-100 club about a month ago. I figured it was time to see what was out there in the Coupons forum, still not there but working on it. It was nice to have a clique to belong to for a while. Best of luck.

Wow, I had no idea there was such a club as this! And I think I'm at 100 with this post...or pretty darn close to it!
