As this is my 99th post, it will officially be my last post as a member of the under-100 club. I'll be moving on up to the 'big leagues' with the next one!

After 100 posts do you become a silver member here at FT? How many posts are required for Plat? Must I requalify every year or is there some type of lifetime membership? :p

OK, so this is extremely gratuitous, but I've been stuck at 89 posts all day and since I have nothing intelligent to add to any recent posts in order to get into Coupon Connection, I thought I'd throw post #90 into the mix right here. My work over the past several months is about to be rewarded.

I've been hesitant to post here, but after lurking for the last month, I figured, why not? Do all posts have to be meaningful?

Several pages ago and in a related thread, several of us Moderators welcomed newer members to introduce themselves here but also cautioned that "post padding" is not accepted.

Recently, the FlyerTalk terms of service were revised and the revised terms, which appear in the FlyerTalk Help center, address this issue clearly:

"Padding Post Counts

Posting meaningless information in an effort to increase one's post count is not permitted. Posts will be removed and the post count reset. Members who engage in this are subject to disciplinary action."

As a result, I have deleted the several posts of one member which run afoul of this rule.

So, feel free to announce your passage of a milestone of posts on FlyerTalk, a personal milestone or achievement or contribute substantively to this or related threads but, please understand that post-padding isn't what FlyerTalk is all about. Ocn Vw 1K, Co-Moderator, Community Buzz.

and with this post, I hereby renounce my membership in the under 100 club. they still treat me like a newbie though ;) (maybe because I don't yell at folks for not using the search feature??)
