I like cricket... and batsmen all know how it feels when approaching the magic 'ton' - 100 runs. They call it 'the nervous nineties'... just where I am now..... Oooh the passion, the intensity.....

Just found this club, soon to be out of it (this is #92).

I feel for you.

I recently experienced the ‘nervous nine-thousands’ as I approached the ‘magic 100 tons’...

I'll still be a member for a while.

Well with me sitting at under 70 posts. Its looks like I will be a member of the "Under 100 Post Club" for sometime still. Whew its gets lonely here! Maybe someday I will be able to feel the excitement of reaching 100 posts.

freespirit,

It looks like you're in a special sub-group of the below 100 club. :D

Surrendering my membership...

It is with very mixed emotions that I offer up my membership in the Under-100 posts club.

I apologize for overstaying by 5 posts, but it seems I've been on a bit of a tear lately...

...Godspeed all ! Tell Godot I coudn't wait.... :D

Should this thread be evicted from itself?!?

As the one who made the historic 100th Post in this thread, I say confer Lifetime Exalted Royal Titanium Elite status upon it and let it remain in perpetuity.

The rest of us will have to dequalify in the normal manner.
note: at this posting, my 36th to-date, I am about to lose my coveted Diamond encrustation :(

Elite Levels in the Under 100 Posts Club

6 - 10 posts--Royal Titanium :-: :-: :-:
11- 39 posts--Diamond Encrusted Titanium :-: :-:
40-75 posts--Executive Titanium : :-:
76-89 posts--Simulated Titanium
90-100 posts--Tin

I am diligently attempting to maintain my Upper-Middle elite status in this club, The move from Exalted Royal Titanium to Diamond-Encrusted took quite some time, but I made it! I will climbing upwards towards Tin in the near future. I might even get kicked out of the club before I know it.

I just found this post and unfortunately it looks like I will be in this club for quite a while myself as I am more of a lurker than a poster :)

Are there awards for being the longest surviving member???? ;)

findingneema Jun 29, 2006 5:25 pm

I figured posting here would be the best way to renounce membership in the under-100 club (i.e. this was #100). :D

I May get there yet!

Well, I'm over 3/4 of the way there.

freespirit Jun 30, 2006 3:57 pm

Yeah I know - I haven't traveled much until these past 2 years. But hey been learning alot from this board - and starting to rack up the miles!

I thought I would post while I am still eligible for this club. (This is my 99th post.) It has taken me 6+ years to reach this point. Can I claim some type of record, or did anyone else take longer to get to 100 posts?

coleson Jul 25, 2006 4:47 pm

I will probably be here for a while  I travel for leisure and love all the tips, advice etc. I've found on this site.
