What a lonely thread... surely someone has an exciting story who is new to FT?

I had a flight hit by lightning on approach to SEA from ANC on AS once...

What is your most interesting flying adventure thus far...

I've had a few, but want to hear a couple of others...

I really don't have any. The only thing I can think of is when I was about 20 years old flying FAT - LAS and hitting severe turbulence. Most of the people on the plane were crying as the plane was dropping and rolling around the sky, and I was throwing my hands in the air like I was on a rollercoaster and making "weeeeee" noises. Someone in the front of the plane screamed at me to shut up.

And to be on topic, I think this is post 73, so I'm in the club.

Lovely-

Despite my flying passion, I hate rollercoasters- ever since my parents took me to Disneyworld when Space Mountain opened, and forced me to ride the tumoltious ride. Ever since that weekend, I hated rollercoastes, and the "sinking" feeling experienced...and I would of gladly asked you to refrain from "weeeeeeing"...

Thanks for replying though LAS

Just found this club...

and I guess I'm a member. Hoping to move on in the not-to-distant future!

I have never been a member of the Under-100 posts club.

I do not believe I could withstand the weight of 100 posts on top of me, as posts are usually made of wood, concrete or metal and are therefore incredibly heavy.

How do all of you accomplish this amazing feat?

Mad skillz.

The same sort of mad skillz that allow me to sleep peacefully through the night when stranded in MSP :D

After 6 months of reading and lurking, I started to post at least once a day almost every day the last 4 weeks. Only 2 months to go before I cross the 100 post milestone. I just don't understand how someone can have over 10,000 posts and not be an employee, retiree, student, convict or of other questionable character :D

I do not understand it either.

I am working on a theory about 10K post-ers...

A possible answer seems to be short comments

At which point you'll be kicked out of the club with your <100 card torn up. ;)

Great!, I found a thread I could reply to without feeling foolish that I did not have enough posts!

thenelsons Jan 2, 2007 10:36 am

Sheesh....

I'm mostly a lurker and it's taking forever to get those posts in......I'll NEVER be able to access the coupon connection!

Of course when I was a student I stood about the same chance of doing any traveling as most convicts !
