We all started as newbies!

None of us were born experts. Well, few of us were born that way ;)

I've been working on this Ft stuff a few hours a weeks for 4 months...

So much to learn...

2travelfar, DOs are get-togethers of FTers. If you go to one of the sticky threads (threads that stay at the top of the list) in the Community forum, it has a list of the upcoming DOs. Unfortunately, my area hasn't had one in ages and I haven't had the motivation to organize one, so I still haven't been to one. They sound like fun though!

Joining the club :)...

Me too....

I love FT and have made a few posts when I thought I had something useful to add. It may take me a while to graduate to the 100+ post club, but here is one more towards the goal. At least I can feel like part of a community here! :)

I'm in the club too!

But trying not to be!

Looking forward to my "graduation".:p

Why is it??

So amazingly important to post a high number of posts? I don't get it...

It is not so important as how many posts you have, (Coupon exchange need 90 posts and Omni 180 and specific time on the board for both) You are valued for the information you have to share with the community.

Is a high post count indicative of how knowledgeable fellow FT members are though? Heck, I have some friends that can waffle on about stuff until the cows come home but that doesnt make them smart. :D

Anyway, that's my contribution while i'm still a member of little league ^

Long time Ft'er finally trying to get over the coveted 100, will post shamelessly to other threads with "thank you", "you rock" ....

Just a friendly reminder as to what the TOS says about post padding:

Padding Post Counts - link to this guideline
Posting meaningless information in an effort to increase one's post count is not permitted. Posts will be removed and the post count reset. Members who engage in this are subject to disciplinary action.
Moderators do keep an eye out, particularly for anyone making runs for CC and OMNI, and appropriate action is taken if anyone is found doing this. Besides, it is a lot more meaningful if you get there the hard way! :)

Try this then ;)

Welcome to FT ancienthills :)

(Don't worry, it does get easier - within a few months, you'll have to mentally shift into non-FT language when speaking to non-FTers...)
