Well not the cheapest of the rooms bought on Priceline, but after a couple tries (and a 72 hour timeout) I decided to bite the bullet and cough few extra bucks.

I landed the Hotel Monaco for, well, ahh, less than a C Note (enough change left to pay by betting loss on the World Cup) so I am still happy with expenditure. The hotel looks pretty nice and the location seems to be right where I would want it to wander home from the festivities.

With that and the flight settled, I am now 100% ready to party in SEA.

Mike

The Hotel Monaco is right across the street from the W which will be housing quite a few of our weekend revelers.

Glad to see you're 100% confirmed!

Ouch, that's like $3 Million Canadian Pesos! Still hoping to score a decent rate on Priceline. It seems that "ozstamps & I are duking it out on the bidding!

Only 6 weeks left & counting...

Dogstar,

If you get into a bind, I guess I can change my king bed to a double.

Let me know.

Regards,
Dan

Mike,

You shouldn't have told me you were a dispatch rider, as I get cut up by those guys all the time! Of course I will bring you some daddies sauce. Ketchup or brown sauce? Can't beat that on scrambled eggs!

Anybody else have any requests?

Edited for a typo or four!

Matthew,

Oh most definitely brown sauce please. Many thanks in advance.

Looking forward to talking to you in SEA. I shall endeavor to give a positive impression of world's craziest force on two wheels.

Mike

Any bold souls that wish us to pack some of those small botles of Vegemite we will be only too happy.

For those who do not know about the hidden delights of Vegemite do a Google search! Literally 21,000 matches here:

If things get really ugly on the downtown hotel front..I can provide transpo to and from Airport Area hotels (usually better P-line prices) for Saturday night's event. There is also a public bus that runs downtown from the airport.

I don't plan to be in suitable chauffering condition on Friday.

Missy,

I thought you Seattle people would only be having one hangover all weekend, but that it would last from Thursday until Monday!

Mike, will pick up a couple of bottles of brown sauce. Anything else you need to remind you of your days in London? Copy of the Sun perhaps?

Matt

Matthew,

Cheers for the assist on the brown sauce. I should be good with just that unless you want to try and get a tin of Crucial Brew through customs as I missing Carnival this year to attend Seattle.See you there.

By the way, my above offer goes to anyone I know that needs 'aid.'

MJM, Wish I would have known sooner.
