Matthew - Dan will actually OWE me the cheesecake once the Mariners beat the Yankees !!

But .....if you happened to show up with some nice clotted cream, I certainly wouldnt complain about it http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Matthew Vandamm Jun 19, 2002 3:55 am

Clotted cream, check! Just hope I can get it through ok, as last time I came across I had some cheese confiscated by the USDA.

So the cheesecake is a bet then, in that case, GO MARINERS!

May try to book that Grand Hyatt downtown for Friday to add to our existing Sat and Sunday booking.

Has anyone booked it recently on priceline for the $40 rate? No notes on Sheryl's board for a while on this one except to say $79 is being rejected for July, downtown 4*. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

Wish I could go but will be in Taiwan that weekend. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

Yes, but Sheryl's board reports are that any downtown 4* even for July/early August are pricing up real expensive right now. Think we all got in at the right time. just wondered if anyone had been getting that Grand Hyatt recently for $40, or did we book up all their surplus inventory for that weekend? ;(

Well I think it is time to get off the proverbial pot on this one and say...........I'm in!

Work will work itself out and that is just how its going to have to be. I am NOT going to miss another of these SEA parties.

I am looking forward to seeing everybody there.

Mike

P. S. Matthew Vandamm, care to do a good deed and bring along a nice squeezie bottle of Daddie's sauce for a displaced ex-despatch rider who cannot get a decent fry-up in Japan?

missy, chex, who's working on the website? We're under 2 months and counting...so what are the options for those who aren't watching the M's spank the Yanks, or aren't watching the M's big screen from a boat on Elliott Bay, or aren't doing double tours at Redhook, aren't doing the Boeing Everett, or Boeing Surplus tour, aren't sitting at Kells soaking up the sun, or shopping with Punki?
Why do I have this need for a schedule? Have I lost all my spontaneity?

Markbach is working on the website, and assures me that it will be up soon. Last years website wasn't launched until a month before the event. Those who arent watching, sailing, touring, soaking, or shopping, will probably be sleeping off their hangovers http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Hunki,

Would you mind if I joined you for the Friday night sitting? I see there are two spots open. I'll even supply the champagne!

Cheers,
Matt
