Road report:

The reader boards at 3. p.m. Friday on I-5 state that the Northbound lanes will be closed from Friday evening until Monday morning between the I-84 junction and the I-405 junction. This will cause congestion and means that those of you going North to Seattle must use I-405 rather than I-5. So plan accordingly for your Sunday departure. The southbound lanes appear to be open so that you can take the Morrison Street (Bridge) exit to get into downtown Portland or come in on I-405 southbound and exit at Couch (Cootch).

TravelWeary is bringing Green Poster Board per her post in the other post.

Well, the RV needs to be returned Sunday morning so there will definitely be a way back to SEA.

The SEA arrivers have in fact arrived, partied, and are tucked back safely into the Homewood Suites.

It was great to finally meet Gaucho, see all the usual suspects, and meet the 3 newbies.. 1K-room lady, I012609, and 1K-SFO who hopefully will not be too traumatized by the RV experience and will come back for SEADOO IV http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Side note to GEO: Photos of you ended up in some very interesting places my friend...I'm sure the photos will be posted soon http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

So where in the event are you all located? - I am going to wander around, water in hand, looking for lagged, hungover folks.
I understand from Opushomes, that Travelweary has a large green sign....now don't alarm the locals !

Yep, most people are pretty impressed after meeting Missydarlin... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

I've posted the trip report for the first half of the trip!

It was great meeting all of you! Thanks for being so welcoming to a new guy!

Great numbers report 1K....It sounds like it would have been cheaper to charter a Gulfstream 5 from SEA....with a big bathroom fan...

Great trip report 1K-SFO!

It was great to meet you all - I had a great weekend. Look forward to seeing you all again at some other do.

Thanks all for visiting my hometown and reducing the amount of brew available for consumption.

Next year you might consider flying directly in and taking MAX (if a train hits a pole you do not have to pay for the damage--unless you are driving the train).
