It sounds as if SEA RCC will be a good meeting point for many of us in the 7pm bank... I'm in from ORD at 7:45pm, I012609 from Denver at 7:45pm, Matt Wald from IAD at 7:30pm. techgirl, you want to come on over to the North Satellite from AA and meet us there?
How many of us are headed to the Homewood Suites? |
Paid one way!
Meeting at the RCC sounds good to me. I haven't actually booked a hotel yet...hmmm...should probably get on that. |
Ok... This is what we will do: pre-8pm arrivers, meet at RCC (i will confirm when i am at SEA on THIS thursday that TG can get from aa-land to RCC). Baraboo (THANKS AGAIN!!!) picks us up at 8:30 in the RV and we head to Homewood. Since Groucho is renting anyway, you 9pm folks hook up somewhere and carpool on up where will have acold beer and hot microphones waiting...so let it be written, so let it be done http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

If it isn't possible for me to get from AA-land to the RCC without exiting security, someone give me a flight number leaving from UA-land after 7 pm so I can make sure I've got a valid ticket itinerary.
I think this is possible, however. Too bad I'm never sober at Sea-Tac to remember these things. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif |

Are you guys just gonna hang out in the hotel parking lot? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/rolleyes.gif [This message has been edited by Gaucho100K (edited 07-16-2002).] |
gaucho...
Beckles and geo1004 arrive SEA on US #101 at 9:40 pm... (although that flight tends to arrive early). We can hook up and shuffle downtown just in time to see Matt get his face slapped for the first time. |
Originally posted by techgirl: If it isn't possible for me to get from AA-land to the RCC without exiting security, AA arives at the end of Terminal C. You will need to follow signs for Alaska Terminal D. From D you can get to the North Satellite. I think this works in theory. |
You can get back in through security with just a valid RCC id and a photo id now. But for the record:
United Airlines # 1197 Denver International (DEN) to Seattle/Tacoma Intl (SEA) Departure: Jul 26 6:00 PM MDT (evening) Arrival: Jul 26 7:43 PM PDT (evening) |
OK So.... do we meet at the RCC? Is the USAir arrival terminal the same at the UA terminal...? I guess I will have about a 30 minute wait, so let me know where I should camp out. I think its best for all of us to get together and take the Hertz Shuttle all at once.
Geo-- email me your cell phone no. so I can log it in my black book... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif |

I stand corrected - thanks for the info.
Here is an itin in case anyone needs to get through. To quote the Chexmeister:
"I think it can be done. AA arives at the end of Terminal C. You will need to follow signs for Alaska Terminal D. From D you can get to the North Satellite. I think this works in theory." This also works in fact as I have done it. Since C and D are connected, just head into the D Terminal passing the security checkpoint on your right and shortly after you will see a short set of steps to the right which will take you to the escalator down to the train to the North Satellite.
