This being my first one of these and all... what's the best way to meet up in SEA? Just stumble into RCC? I'll be in the 7:30pm bank (I've from ORD)...

I'm dropping a friend off at the airport tomorrow evening...so if any of you need a lift back into town..shoot me an email. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Beckles-- you have mail. So who else is meeting up with me tomorrow...? Geo..???

techgirl Jul 25, 2002 9:02 pm

I'll be at the RCC at about 6:30 to await the arrivals of the first few VSOI folks as arranged by e-mail earlier.

I just got off the phone with AA and I'm gonna have to make the 3:47 pm out of SEA as everything out of PDX is oversold as are my flight and the two redeyes out of SEA. As I have a client meeting on Monday, there is NO way I can't make it back. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

Sunday is gonna be a huge issue for me, I fear, if we are suddenly changing the logistics of the original planned ride. Is there anyone else flying out of SEA on Sunday afternoon now that Waldo has changed his flight and geo has bailed?

I have a 2:00 PM flight out of SEA on Sunday, so you can ride with me if you want.

I012609 Jul 25, 2002 9:52 pm

I land at 7:43 from Denver and will be meeting at the RCC with all of the other 7:30-ish arrivers.

See you tomorrow!

Well, since I don't have to take the 7:10 PM flight to fly with geo ( http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif) and won't be getting the Heinies geo owes me at the US Airways Club ( http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif), I went ahead and changed my flight to two hours earlier (ASSUMING I'm able to get out of work by about 4:00 PM, which hopefully won't be a problem, but who knows ...), so I should be getting in around 7:30 PM also. I guess I should find my way to the RCC and ask for the distinguished Matt Wald?

Ask for Waldo or ask for me. Better yet, call one of our cell phones.

Waldo has a past history of not being able to hear the paging system in the RCC. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Ugh, this just occurred to me: cell reception at the SEA RCC is nearly non-existent because the club's seemingly underground--lower level beneath the terminal. I believe many of us will just be stumbling around looking for others...

If you need a ride out of SEA this evening, please see:

Nah... don't sweat it. Right now, I count five folks beside myself who will be coming into the RCC... everyone meet at the bar and we'll be fine. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif If anyone does NOT have RCC access, let me know. Since I'll be the first one in, I would be glad to host a guest.

Happily, I'm not sweating it--the stumbling will be more from VSOI after the flight than from, well, anything else. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Is there only one RCC in Seattle? I don't want to be at the wrong one at the bar drinking alone http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

chexfan Jul 26, 2002 9:36 am

Only one RCC at SEA. At the bottom of the escalator (to your left if you're going down), heading towards the tram which takes you to the main terminals.
