People who have real phones usually imbed a link to the restaurant, like MEAT AND POTATOES

Will there be that many people in town on Thursday??

It would be convenient for a pre-ballgame dinner if they have room to take us on Friday, and it's a very short walk just across the bridge to the ballpark. I imagine more people will be in town on Friday...

Thursday since there's not as much of a time crunch with the ballgame looming at 7pm, that might be the better day to do something less close to downtown...

Also on the inaugural flight, trying to decide between the Clemente Museum annual fundraiser dinner that same night, or joining the dinner at Meat & Potatoes. Do you have room for one more? The rest of the itinerary sounds like fun too.

Please include rxgeek+1 for any Friday activity. We may have room for a couple on our car. If you plan on renting a car, be advised that the 'Burgh is notoriously difficult to navigate.

Dinners?

Another dinner venue you may like is the Church Brew Works.

Neat architecture, decent food, decent beer, or at least that was the case years ago.

I'll have a car as well (and know how to navigate Pittsburgh), so I should be able to make room for two passengers, assuming Mr. Kipper is driving.

We do!

Keep us posted. Sounds like I need to do some updating to the wiki this afternoon.

See you onboard!

Sounds like a great reason to get rid of some skypesos!

Dinner update

Due to requests from "the usual suspects" we have moved Meat and Potatoes to Friday night at 5 PM, so we can catch the game after. I'll provide updates to the rest of my posts once I'm on a PC. I would rsvp soon as space will be limited.

I'll also provide an update to Thursday night. The brewery sounds tasty.

Thanks!

Davetravels knows Pittsburgh well, although I don't think he's an AS traveler. Are DL people welcome?
