Camera Guy. You still here? CO needs your assistance. Jon Toner asked a question in a thread and I answered it here. You in fact kindly posted this link to the end of that thread. Thanks. Where is your problem then? But you've been so busy today, you may have forgotten that, in all your excitement.

Thanks for update Hunnybear - no hurry for a response as mentioned above. And we certainly agree on something Hunnybear - this thread is absolutely DRIPPING with hypocrasy. (sic) Lots of it. From many posters. Que Sera Sera.

2.45pm Thursday. Time to go do some shopping and banking and pick up some newly upgraded tickets from United in town. That's to do with FLYING ..... but hey, not the subject on anyone's mind today it seems. Please play nice folks. (ps Continental comes after China Airlines on the Forum directory.)

OK. The time has come that I must say, paradox aside and not withstanding, of how proud I am of myself that I have not participated in this debate.

Sincerely (and just trying to be IP Logged for posterity),

I therefore ask you directly, "Have you posted to this forum under the guise of Janejet?"
Hey hypocrite,

This is Jon's question. Where prey tell, have you answered it here?

I am going nowhere. I am going to shadow you, informing new members that you have no credibility.

Strange but true. Do you suddenly for some reason NOW object to those here being required to use their real names?
This is not true. No one is required to post in their own (or commonly known) handle. What they are required to have is the courage to post under the name(s) of their choice, knowing that these can be traced to them.

With or without IP logging words show a path to their owners. In some cases the path may be obvious, in others less clear - but anyone with patience and insight will eventually see where it leads.

And, now, FT boys and girls, the top ten lame apologies of all time:

TEN: Flaming doomsday meteor to dinosaur: “Sorry to wipe you out, but 70 million years from now we are going to need the oil.”

NINE: Abraham, to God, as he was about to sacrifice his son Isaac: “First, you told me to, and second, think of all the ‘He begats’ that you won’t have to write about.”

EIGHT: Pharaoh to the people of Egypt: “Quit bellyaching, I hardened my heart to Moses because first born sons are a pain and because a couple of plagues will build character.”

SEVEN: The Roman Soldiers who sacked the great Library of Alexandria: “Hey, them Greeks deserved it, they raised the fine for overdue scrolls to 50 dracs”

SIX: The Serbian terrorist who started WWI by killing Archduke Ferdinand: “I was just trying to knock off his silly hat.”

FIVE: To the 25 million victims of Stalin’s genocide: “We were just trying to create a Worker’s Paradise.”

FOUR: The American Olympic Team that lost to the Soviet Union in the basketball finals: OK, this one has no more excuse than Pat Boone has for singing Little Richard songs.

THREE: President Clinton to the Cigar Manufactures’ Association: “I was merely trying to explore a more healthful use for your products.”

TWO: Florida voters to the Nation: “We are all ninety years old, and don’t have long to live, so why waste time reading the darn voting instructions.”

And the number one lame excuse, Oz to FT: I will ever so slightly, backhandedly, ungraciously apologize for my proven, documented transgressions, IF everyone else owns up to all things, past, present and future, that I project onto them.

My first thought was why post this in the Buzz rather than Community? Upon reflection it's actually quite appropriate for this pathetic thread to be here for it, and its pathetic originator, really have no place in our community.

Nearly one week ago I posted:

At some point there probably was an acceptable framework for some type of reconciliation. I think possibly acceptable course[s] of action were discussed both privately with 'them' via email and publicly on this thread and others. As most rational people will do, we all presume we are dealing with another rational being.

The behavior of the ozzie-phalanx is neither rational nor logical. Would a rational person, obviously caught (sorry for the pun but it's apt!) in the cookie jar, behave as we have seen 'them' behave for the past week? Would a logical person assume that they could ignore this for a while and it will go away without any sort of acceptance of responsibility? Would you accept this kind of behavior from a peer or colleague? My answer is resoundingly NO...

I quoted this in another thread that this was sent to me by another FlyerTalker via email almost one week ago:

"Poor Oz. It seems likely (these shenanigans aside) that he is rather unbalanced. Not pleasant to live with, but even worst to live
within."

And in the long run, why would we ever want to provide even an iota of respect to someone who has behaved with such shame, dishonor, and disrespect?

And how will you shield the new FTer's who join a week from now or a month from now or six months from now? How will they know that the nice tidy garden of FT hides a snake, all coiled up and hissing? Will you ever look at a newbie and wonder if this is yet another of the ozzie-phalanx? Do you enjoy being used? How much deception are you willing to accept? Is your standard of conduct so low that this
behavior is acceptable?
...

This latest "effort" from ozzie is as specious a piece of work as we've seen to date and fully validates my own personal conclusion that he is irrational. Is not one definition of insanity repeating the same course of action over and over but expecting different outcomes? Does anyone see a "different" ozzie behavior in his psuedo-apology than the ozzie we've all come to know and loathe over the past six months?

Folks, it really comes down to this for me:

We have among us a person of no honor and of no integrity; a person who lacks the basic ability to behave as a gentleman and and who lacks the basic understanding of respect. Rather we have among us one who would deceive, prevaricate, obfuscate and then ultimately engage in the same behavior in the guise of an "apology.

Through his own actions, he has violated the spirit of our community and ceased to be worthy to be a member.

More pointedly, he has violated the Terms of Service of this board and he should be removed for those actions.

And what twisted glee the demented must be having at all our expense...

I've kept out of the pretty much for all this time, but now for my 2 cents.

Why anyone would feel that posting under several names is of benefit I do not know. The abuse is unwarranted and unhelpful.

My name and email address have been the same since I joined, and since then I have watched the board develop.

Usefullness of posts is in the eye of the beholder. Ozstamps posts are interesting but often have a hard edge to them. I'm a big boy I can ignore them. PremExec is helpful and the web page he set up is interesting and informative - I wish it had been then when I started off with United.

However, I must say that I do not think Ozstamps first post is an apology - I'd like to know all the names and understand that he does not plan to do it again. I think it disappointing that he wants credit for getting people to post in their own names - I for one have been doing it since before he joined the board.

I've been a subscriber to Randy's publication for several years and have always found it a good read - in fact it came yesterday to me in the UK and I read it within a hour cover to cover. The same cannot be said of this board at time. I get bored hunting through all the flames/mis-information to find the one bonus offer I didn't know about.

As for claiming that IP logging is a suitable headstone for Ozstamps - that seems to be over doing both what IP logging achieves and misconstrues his motives for the multiple posts. If getting IP logging was what he wanted for the start - there must have been other ways to get it.

Personally, I wouls have loved to come to one of your Frequent Flyer bashes' but must say that there I would need to know exactly who else was there as there are some folks who I don't think are very nice.

Hey!!!

If you hold down the scroll button the text moves too quickly to read.

This way I can pick and choose what I want or do not want to read.

TRY IT, IT WORKS.

I just read it as blah, blah, blah, blah blah
