I generally refrain from responding to anything non travel related, but feel I must. When I first started on this board, I was amazed by both the wealth of knowledge of the posters here and also the professional courtesy and occasional jesting between users that obviously cared about each other. Recently it has seemed to digress alltogether to often (IMHO) into ad hominem attacks and non travel talk.

So I have an idea. I would like to encourage others to join me in reminding others to walk away from this non productive (at least to us mile junkies) banter, while not encouraging any further digression. I would simply encourage anyone who feels we are digressing into discussion that should be walked away from simpy to post the words "Talk Travel" no more, no less. The more "Talk Travel"'s on a post the more encouragement posters will have to walk away and get back to basics. I will most likely post this on threads where I feel it is appropriate. If anyone feels this is inappropriate you may feel free to e-mail me. I would suggest the only response to agree with me needs to be two words.. "Talk Travel"

Lets get back to what we all love about this board!

It was so wonderful being away in Switzerland with Rudi and Gisela and having soem great times and talks with my best brother and buddy wanderlust. He has cut his participation on this board because of so much crap going on. ANd I cant blame him and it was so refreshing NOT to have to read through all of this.

But one point GLEN THAT WAS NO APOLOGY. I KNOW ONE WHEN I SEE ONE. AND IF OTHERS CAN GIVE THERE OPINIONS THEN I CAN TOO.

Very simple answer. I have never met Ozstamps, nor do I ever wish to. I simply do not like cowards.

This piece of work spent months blubbering and whining about false handles. At the very same time he created false handles to attack two of the most respected members of this community. He did this due to the obvious envy he has for those two members.

This piece of work has also spent months accusing members here of being "False Handles", all the while he was guilty himself. He owes an apology to Premex Quietlion Fallinasleep cigarman and myself. I am sure I have missed some of his "Innocent accused".

This piece of work has claimed to have "Apologized" for creating and using the false handles. The initial post was not an apology. In that post, he accuses QL of being the Pfp's and he accuses me of being NSNH. Apology? Not even close, it was an act of cowardice.

This piece of work has maintained that he has "Answered" the direct question from Jon Toner. He has not. Jon Toner asked a specific question. This cowardly piece of work has not answered the question.

This coward, this hypocrite, this piece of work has attacked my friends. I for one will not forgive. Nor will I forget.

This piece of work however has the power to end all of these threads. He can become a man and issue a sincere apology. Not only for creating false handles, but also for his false and ridiculous accusations.

Lastly, no apology will be complete without a COMPLETE list of his aliases.

I don't think this thread should have been bumped. But given that it has, I'd like to ask the bumper whether he has posted to FT under a handle other than the one he's used here.

Well onefreeman makes his first FT posts in 3 years and decides to bump up moldy 5 year old threads that were originally locked. I guess I or other Candidates could also bump up a pile of 4 or 5 year threads too, but I am sure that would NOT be something Randy would regard as in the best interests of Flyertalk.

You are right Wingnut - I'll bet my house that onefreeman was also posting as "mileshog" just 2 days back when Randy and Mods needed to edit out that nonsense. And needed to lock down another moldy thread another FT'er "helpfully" bumped here just a few days back.

'mileshog' was most clearly a duplicate handle - himself posting 6 years back (way before I joined FT) he "used to be a frequent poster" (currently has just 3 posts against that handle.) He was whining about FT even back then:
