You have been on vacation, and haven't seen anything of what's going on, but yet on 12/03, you posted here

Can some one fill me in on what ozstamps did to bring out such an outpouring?
Sure, read this thread and the others like it.

I hope FTer's can focus on the the purpose of FT.
Sounds suspiciously like the message of some other "notable" Flyertalkers.

Hey markbach.. sorry but I'am suspicious that you are suspicious.
But great eyes.. except the fact that the 12/3/00 post was from the HNL internet cafe on Kuhio.
I was on a 24,000 mile trip from ORD-LHR-LAX-HNL-ORD-LHR-ORD.....AA miles
If my question needn't be answered ,what can be said.

Well, now the ozstamps/juancho duo has gotten even me angry.

That's it, they're both off the island.

Wondering if any other FTer has had this experience. Just read a recent, apparently innocent post by Ozstamps, which was followed by another equally harmless post concurring with his point. But I could not help myself from spontaneously questioning the credibility of the follow-up poster. Oz, it would still be quite easy for you to answer the direct question and clear the air.

Yes ... in an e-mail exchange with another FTer I said that the current atmosphere is magnifying my and probably others' suspicious side. Coming here in the last couple weeks has been like walking into a large Soc Rel experiment. Not really what one hopes for in a community. From his first posts, I was a bit leery of the ozster and was somewhat taken aback when some perfectly ordinary post (or worse, a nonsensical one) of his was immediately backed up by a gushing encomium. Several posters quickly made it onto my "take with a grain of salt" list; it does not please me that the reason should be that some are puppets. One notable thing - perhaps the one that convinced me more than the edited postings - is that not only has oz refused to address the issue, the others (janejet in particular) has not done so either. The way I see it, even if oz didn't reply to this stuff, jj should have done so long since. This behavior may change, of course, but I don't see belated explanations carrying much weight.

I'm not a troll baiter and don't play one on TV, but I've never been as suspicious of posters here as I've been lately. Sad what it's done to many of us.

Just last night I was lurking in some Forums I generally don't check, and found 2 NEW Members. MukMuk and docstamps have profiles that say they are from Oz.

Coincidence? Or someone else here trying to fuel this fire even more? Either way, it sucks...

Shadow: MukMuk became a member in April 2000 and Ozstamps in June 2000. I fail to see how MukMuk is "NEW" member?

Reading the page 2 posts above more than 50% are from those who appear to have multiple FT identities. Anyone disagree? Pretty odd statistic given the subject matter.

Keep those witch stakes primed up boys.

Bring in the ISP logging.

I am bringing this to the top to tell you that Ozzie has claimed to have answered Jon's question in the above liked thread.

I disagree.

Yeah Oz, I disagree. Why don't you prove your accusation for once? And you still have not answered the direct questions that are posted to you? Furthermore, since you will not stop accusing people of using multiple identities, ARE/WILL you continue to use multiple identities??

More of the same...

What I am most concerned about is that in the past Ozstamps appeared to patch things up with various posters after engaging in a nasty confrontation. But his sincerity and on-topic posts were always shortlived. Before long, he would begin the cycle of abrasive, misleading, and selfish posting activity all over again. This culminated in his creation of multiple, mulitple personalities. I wish I could explain the rationale behind his initial and subsequent behavior, which I still find insulting for lack of a better word, but it really is inexplicable. Cats get nine lives, but humans rarely do. In my opinion, Ozstamps has already used up more than his fair share of the nine (lives and handles) that are allowed on this board.

So, where do "we" go from here? It would be easier to answer this question if Ozstamps made an appearance and apologized.

In the absence of one, how kind and forgiving does this community need to be?
Well, heck, let's put him on the TalkBoard.

Since the ozstamps' "platform" is:

I am a great advocate for transparency and openness...
I am sure he won't mind a bit of his own history being transparent and open.

And I am positive the "mod squad" will understand that one must live with one's own history...
