Thanks, Spartacus, my stomach awaits with anticipation the taste delights of KKs on Saturday morning. As BB has noted, we haven't popped the corks yet, but it looks good that AC will be flying through into next week, so we should be able to make it into, and out of, Montreal for the weekend.
BTW Canada's other national daily, the Globe & Mail, has run their feature of Krispy Kremes this morning (Thursday) following on the heels of the original one last week in the National Post. The anticipation builds...

You could just as easily say the same thing about meat loaf, which doesn't sound strange at all. Just say, viande fume.

Perhaps you could also provide a rough translation for the signs governing on street parking in the city of Montreal for those FTer's in rental cars armed only with a knowledge of English!
For example, it is critical to distingush NO PARKING from TOW AWAY ZONE!

One day to go, Air Canada is flying, the sun is shining, it's a beautiful day in the neighbourhood for an FAQ party.

Glad to hear NO STRIKE. Just arrived in New York City, haven't ventured out of the apartment yet. I've got a sunburn from Florida, my third one in all my years of living! Ouch. I'll be on the same flight as Cat, SOMEBODY PLEASE PICK ME UP. Thank you. I think I've gained ten pounds, just hearing about all that food. But what a way to go...

What are the standard five male dress codes, you ask? Simple. As opposed to the number of possible combinations and standards females need to deal with, men follow one of the following:
1 - Riduculous (Tux)
2 - Very Formal (Jacket and tie)
3 - Formal (Jacket, no tie, shoes)
4 - Normal (anything covering essential body parts)
5 - Comfortable (Clothes optional)
Please let me know which number the restaurant is expecting....Thanks.

Therefore, "no parking" = ne pas (or n.p.)stationnement!
