Catman,

You owe me a meeting for cancelling on me at JFK! Uh...yeah...sure...Boeing has tours 24 hours a day...oh darn, I can't lie...Boeing tours are Monday through Friday only, sorry. Instead, you could visit the Alaska Airlines employee gift shop (open to the public, the public just doesnt know it!).

Boeing plant is fine with me if anybody is here when it's open. Any other ideas, requests, suggestions?

We will definitely be here but I can't make any guarantees about the weather. Who plans on coming at this point?

The Met for dinner Friday night, ??? time. The rest of the events sound great, I'll try to get my co-worker who will be with me in Pittsburgh to come also, codename baze. As for Catman the Sam Adams are on me !! Not quite the Boeing tour but satisfying none the less, so how about it ? I'd beg but I wore out my kneepads at my last review.

Cheers Scott

the Met serves great local brews on draught (and that even beats bottled Sam Addams or Beck's ...).

I am going to work on coming to this event, and putting together some names and faces. ;-).

By the way, Seattle is home to Fonte Coffee Roasters, best coffee on the planet, and the Alexis Hotel, a truly great small/medium place about 6 blocks from Pike's Place Market.

the Alexis: my first hotel stay in Seattle ever. A "no tips" policy hotel. Nice bookstore-like bar and, for a hotel, an inventive Restaurant: the painted table.

Walk both ways: to (old) Pioneer Square or business Center.

Punki:
I will be there with my wife Jackie, but only for Friday night & Saturday up to 4:00 PM.
I'll be seeing clients in Redmond on Friday morning & afternoon, then plan to meet at the Met. Grill??
Must be back in PDX Saturday night (driving).

You guys pick the time for dinner.

I think Mileage addict can be in charge of making the reservations for the Metropolitan Grill. 7:30 or 8:00 is fine with me but, hey, I don't eat read meat so what do I know about dinner at the Met?

I've just been going along with the original idea for the Met. If there is another choice that would be better suited for all that are attending, that's OK with us.

Punki: Seafood (Gisela takes the Lobster there) seems to be an option too at the Met.

I will gladly volunteer to take care of reservations. However, I need a confirmation list of who is definetly coming. Send me an email if you know for sure. I will wait until 9/10 to make the reservation for 6pm on Friday, 9/24.

Well, I got a fare offer I could NOT refuse.

So I"m coming.

The bad news: I MUST return SUNDAY Morning to make it to work MONDAY MORNING.

The good news; You'll have me if you want for 1.5 days.

Itinerary:

24 Sept: UA 1911 EWR-DEN 11:45-13:48
UA 1443 DEN-SEA 14:35-16:10

Two nights at the "W" hotel, 1112 Fourth Avenue. It's supposed to be open by then, otherwise I may be sleeping at the Pike's Peak Market with the fishes!

26 Sept: UA 1786 SEA-DEN 08:10-11:45
UA 906 DEN-EWR 12:20-18:01

Three of the four segments confirmed FIRST CLASS with MIles. I just hope all the planes are ON TIME!

Well, see ya'll in about a month and a half!

Catman: Glad to hear you're coming...I just booked a 'Free Friday' at the Westin on 5th Avenue for the get together. Since we are driving up from PDX, we will be leaving on Sat. by 6:00pm, but sure look forward to meeting everyone.
I may even bring pictures of our cats to show you.
