B) Limousine bus from HND T2 (Domestic Terminal) leaving at 21:00 and arriving NRT T2 at 22:10
C) Keisei Line train leaving HND International Terminal at 21:47 and arrives at Keisei Narita at 23:26
D) Taxi across Tokyo. Hope your Suica card is charged up!

Please select now.
Great idea ^ and thanks for the summary

Personally I would choose B) and then C) and I really hope D) would never happen.

There is a free shuttle between the international and domestic terminals at HND so if your flight arrives on time and passport control doesn’t take too long this sounds like your best bet. The shuttle at HND goes to Domestic T2 first so it might be better to get off there and catch the limousine bus at 21:00.

If you can’t make the last limousine bus, it’s better to try and go to Narita rather than to the airport. There are several options with the last departure at 21:43 from HND. I’ll list them separately in the next post.
Thank you very much for your efforts finding these options for the transfer HND-NRT or Narita, which I couldn't find.

I will print out the japanese version of the Keisei train schedule and carry it with me.
And then I will cross my fingers, that my flight from PEK will be on time.
Hope, that'll work.

There was an error in post 133 which I have now corrected. The train you catch from HND is Keikyū Line (not Keisei), which goes through Subway Toei Asakusa Line and Keisei Lines to Narita/Narita Airport. So you should look for Keikyū (京急) at HND. The only other station is for the Monorail so it shouldn’t be difficult to find.

The schedule I posted earlier reads:

Haneda Airport International Terminal
Keikyū Line Airport Kaitoku (for Narita Airport)
21:47-22:04

Sengakuji <No need to change>
Toei (Subway) Asakusa Line Airport Kaitoku (for Narita Airport)
22:05-22:24

Oshiage <No need to change>
Keisei Oshiage Line Commuter Tokkyū (for Narita Airport )
22:25-22:30

Aoto <No need to change>
Keisei Main Line Commuter Tokkyū (for Narita Airport)
22:30-23:26

Keisei Narita
Just proves Japanese commuters are still travelling at 11pm.

While we are OT here is a plan showing the inter-terminal bus route at Haneda Airport.

The international Terminal is in turquoise, T1 in red and T2 in dark blue. The inter-terminal bus route is shown in pale green.

To catch a bus after arrival check this video.

Or when you enter the public area, turn right and go one floor down either by using an elevator or an escalator. Turn left when you leave the terminal building and walk to bus stop 0 (zero). Inter-terminal buses are usually green.

The inter-terminal bus will arrive at Stop 9 in T2. The limousine bus to NRT leaves from Stop 7.

if you miss the last limousine bus there’s no need to return to the international terminal. The Keikyū station is located between T1 and T2 (shown as a pale grey rectangle). Keikyū only has one station for the domestic terminals. The monorail has two separate stations for T1 and T2.

So we catch subway to JR Sapporo station.... Can we pay for JR train with Suica? I should know this but can't remember whether we can use Suica to pay for JR trains...or we need to buy a ticket from JR office or vending machine?

The train to Otaru is the same train that you take from the airport (CTS) to Sapporo and you can use Suica or similar. You can’t use Suica on long-distance trains which cross the boundaries of different JR regions (see the map below) but as long as you are within one JR region such as Hokkaidō you will be fine.

I can think of only two or three modes of transport during the Do where you can’t use Suica: shuttle bus from Sapporo to the ryokan in Noboribetsu some of us have already booked and the horse-drawn tram at the Historical Village of Hokkaidō (and Mt Moiwa Ropeway if we decide to go there). By the way if you print this page (http://www.mimiyorimap.jp/sightseein...omura_cpn.html) or show it on your smart phone you will receive a 100 yen discount on your entrance fee to the Historical Village.

They try to be authentic. IC cards didn’t exist during the frontier period.

Horses take payment in hay. A handful of hay will get you a one-way ticket. You'll need to add a bottle of sake to get the roundtrip ticket.

Heads up: IHG are having an Easter sale! By booking a non refundable rate (you should know whether you are going by now) and foregoing breakfast, our 4 nights at the HI Sapporo is ¥27000 cheaper! Also the CP Chitose on the night prior to us leaving Sapporo is ¥2500 cheaper.
