Exclamation The 5th Franconian NUE DO "Back to the middle Ages with some beer" - May31-Jun03 2018

Hi everyone,

after four successful DOs in my hometown NUE (2009, 2012, 2013 and 2015) I spontaneously decided to host another one next year - themed around the middle Ages. It'll take place during the Beer Fest in the Moat so that you can taste the beers of Franconia and our yummy local food (must I mention sausages, schaeuferla, pork knuckles, potato dumplings, ..?)

Four days packed with fun, tours and excellent food.

I plan to make a day trip to either Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Bamberg or Regensburg - although Regensburg is geographically not Franconia anymore. But the Oz-Fest also took a detour to New Zealand

More details will be posted on this thread within the next couple of months. Now it's time to save the date in your calendar.

Looking forward to welcome old and new Flyertalk friends next year.

Cheers,
CHris

getting from the airport to the city center is very convenient. you can just take the subway which will cost 3,00€ for a single ride and take you to the main station in about 12 minutes.

Bummed this clashes with my OzFest and post-OzFest plans. I suppose one could RTW the two DOs into one, but that would take quite some award planning

Being so close to Ozfest and that end of month beginning of month is busy at work I could never get the time off work to actually attend, so it's a no from me.
