Hi everyone,

after four successful DOs in my hometown (2009, 2012, 2013 and 2015) I spontaneously decided to host another one next year - themed around the middle Ages. It'll take place during the Beer Fest in the Moat so that you can taste the beers of Franconia and our yummy local food (must I mention sausages, schaeuferla, pork knuckles, potato dumplings, ..?)

Four days packed with fun, tours and excellent food.

I plan to make a day trip to either Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Bamberg or Regensburg - although Regensburg is geographically not Franconia anymore. But the Oz-Fest also took a detour to New Zealand

More details will be posted on this thread within the next couple of months. Now it's time to save the date in your calendar.

Looking forward to welcome old and new Flyertalk friends next year.

Cheers,
CHris
Is this in Nuremburg? If so, it might be worth mentioning that somewhere in the opening post.

Yes, it is in Nuremburg.

Closest airports: NUE, MUC, FRA

And yes, it should be in the title somewhere.
