My wife and daughter would like to thank everyone who made them feel welcome.
We attended 2 very lovely restaurants for dinner yesterday and today. I spent the day having lunch with my family and we drove around the city and to Bar Beach.
It was nice to catch up with old friends and meet some new friends along the way.
Thanks go out to the organisers for taking care of everything. I think I heard Queenstown mentioned next year. I will try to attend but not sure about wife and daughter. Newcastle was a little too cold for them and think Queenstown will be much too cold for them.

(You may have heard "Queenstown" but it is more likely to be on the Sunshine Coast).

Heading back to Sydney
Lovely seeing everyone yesterday and Friday.
Anyone heading back to Sydney by train this afternoon should consider the 1.21pm XPT train departure from Broadmeadow. First Class carriage and cafe/ bar car
Although I know the Sunday $2.50 train daily fare is very tempting for the regular train.

Per post 336, we meet in the lobby of the Crowne Plaza at 12:15-ish for a 12:30 departure.
(I have no other sources of information. If this is wrong, please don't shoot the messenger.)

Thank you to all involved in the organising. Everything went without a hitch, which means there must have been a massive amount of work in the background to make it appear so effortless!
