Berlin Express Tour

Ending Point: Brandenburg Gate

Free time to find lunch and explore the area. Perhaps try and get a booking to visit the Reichstag Dome, head to the Memorial for the Murdered Jews of Europe or take a walk through the Tiergarten.

Rebel Berlin Tour

Meeting Point: Pariser Platz/Brandenburg Gate (outside French Embassy)

Leaving after we have finished dinner in two groups. We will head on different routes to avoid overcrowding.

Free time to find lunch and return to Gendarmenmarkt for the Spies and Escapes Tour. Maybe checkout Mehringdamm (home to some of Berlin's most famous Currywurst (Curry 36) and Doner Kebap (Mustafa's)) or head back into the centre of town.

I can attest that the Templehof airport tour is really awesome. Another really cool and unique attraction is the Boros Bunker. It's an art gallery in one of the last remaining Nazi war bunkers that Hitler constructed in the 40's. They have tours of the art and allow you to go underneath into the basement (bomb shelter) and it's really really cool. Could be another option!

Evening: Pre-Drinks and dinner (Venue TBC) for those who are in town


Friday 7 October
Morning: Introduction to Berlin Tour covering highlights of central Berlin and her history.
Lunch: Find your own lunch around the Brandenburg Gate with enough time to check out the Reichstag (pre-book your entry slot).
Afternoon: Rebel Berlin Tour covering the rebellious side of Berlin from the 1920s to today. We will look at the Cabaret history of the 20s, civilian riots, the squatters of today and how gentrification is changing some of the cities coolest suburbs.
Evening: Dinner (Venue TBC)
Evening: Pub crawl to a mix of traditional establishments and the new craft beer scene in Berlin.


Saturday 8 October
Morning: Tempelhof Airport Tour
Lunch: Find your own lunch with options around the Tempelhof Airport or close to our afternoon starting point.
Afternoon: Spies and Escapes Tour covering the history of the Berlin Wall and escape attempts.
Evening: Dinner (Venue TBC)


Sunday 9 October
Morning: Farewell Brunch (Venue TBC)
Afternoon: Spree River Cruise heading through the inner city for those who remain.

As others have said above, nice job with the program!

Also, please add a +1 for me - it's not yet 100% but very likely that a friend of mine from the Netherlands will be able to join us. (She came to the Christmas Markets NUE DO and enjoyed it very much.)
