Randy, I am so pleased that I was fortunate enough to be seated next to you on the SMD2 charter, and the news that you are stepping back from FT makes it all the more special (in a sad sort of way!)

It was my honor and pleasure to sit next to a man who has enriched so many lives.

God bless, Randy and enjoy your next endeavors!

Randy,

I don't think words can adequately express our gratitude to you for what you gave us here - your expertise, your guidance, and most importantly your friendship. You will certainly be missed, but this place will always be associated with Randy Petersen. I just hope you will keep in touch with us as you move forward.

Best wishes to you my friend.

Randy, thank you so much. You can be very proud of your accomplishments. I have been a member of FlyerTalk for nearly 10 years. FlyerTalk has changed my life. I have had the pleasure of meeting you, at a Las Vegas dinner several years ago, as well as hundreds of members of the FT Community. You have made it possible for me to attend DOs and make friends around the world, and to travel in the front of the plane instead of the back. May I offer my best wishes to you. :-:

Randy, I have never met you but perhaps one day our paths will cross.

Thank you for FT and all the wonderful people and information this site has gathered. I have enjoyed and learned much here over the last 5 years.

Good luck in your future endeavors.

Randy -

I'm honored I've had the opportunity to meet you and benefit from this great community you've created and nurtured. I appreciate all you've done to make FT the soaring success it has become.

I hope you'll come visit a Do now and again, and now forget your FT roots!
Best of luck in whatever future endeavours garner your attention and focus!!

I thank you Randy and FlyerTalk, for if it wasn't for FT I wouldn't be who I am today nor would I have worked for three different airlines either!

I don't believe there has been a time in the last ten years when somebody has asked the standard interview question "name some things that have had a positive influence on your life" that I have not said Flyertalk. It would be totally impossible to list all the benefits and friends you have made possible, and all the other people's whose lives had been made better even though they will never see the inside of an airplane or a hotel room because of those relationships.

Things in life change, but Fluertalk was one of those things that I always wished stayed the same.

Total best of luck to you in whatever you do in life going forward. You have been a tremendous influence on my life.
