Qantas seems to have the far more sensible direct flight times from SYD.
"Sometimes" a 'group booking' offers pretty big savings.
Qantas "groups" are 10 minimum and we would be able to do that from both SYD and MEL I feel sure and maybe even BNE.

Be interesting if someone fills out the form above for eco/Premium/Biz quotes - who knows - it may be a decent rate offered?
AFAIK TIGER is not serving there yet, odd given their home base in SIN, but if they come on-stream at some point expect the others to drop prices a lot.

Please put me down for Silver. I'd like to say Gold, but after having to bow out of OzFest 7 I don't want to commit to more than that this far out. A lot will depend on some possible business in India and on whether or not we get to New Zealand this December. My fingers are crossed ...

Looks like only ozstamps will keep his perfect attendance record, as I am taking the QF WP's to Europe/UK in May 2011 (corresponding with our Chief Bridesmaid's 40th birthday on 31 May and Mrs QF WP's similar birthday in late June). At the moment (planning on 330 days availability using my AA points), we are looking to leave anytime from Saturday 21st May to (more likely) Wednesday 26th.
Whilst I would have loved to have included DRW as the first sector, I lost that vote to the birthday girl who would rather arrive early in London and be well rested for the first party.
We might just have to wave our Champagne flutes at you from FL410 as we pass overhead enroute to SIN
