Mark me down as interested. That's a part of Australia that has always intrigued me. Need to investigate flight options. I'd definitely be there if AA would just cooperate and file another $1200 F fare!

Not likely (to be less) with the number of Platinum we have now: 33 after 37 days (with 10 gold and 3 silver)
Ozfest 7 took about 85 days to get about 30 Platinum

Attendee list in post 2

Due not in small part to tastes of the great times that were had in ADL lingering in everyones' mouths. ^

IMO, immediate signups for the next DO was the result.

Don't say "not likely".

We're still a fair few months out, plus the events and costs haven't been given yet.

Hmmm...I don't seem to be on the list.

Please put me down for Gold at the moment. Still quite far out to tell what I'm doing (in theory, I should be madly writing my thesis then and preparing to go to Germany for a conference).

Mark me + 1 + 1 jr as Platinum, I can wrap it with a work trip to avoid any last minute changes of plans making me cancel like this year!

You expect me to fly an expensive DRW-SIN sector on JQ?

I didn't expect you to suggest such a crazy idea, serfty....

Please put me down as Silver at this stage but I do not think I will be attending.

Very disappointing after 5 years in a row but airfares and accommodation are too expensive and airline schedules are terrible which means I would need to take 2 days off work(Friday and Monday) and I simply cannot afford to do that as I will be off on my golfing holiday to Thailand on 3 June for 2 weeks.

Oh well. Hopefully we can catch up at another DO or drinks night somewhere along the way....

We will all miss you, John. Hope we catch up with you while we are in SYD.

Two weeks of golf in BKK ain't bad. You won't see any crocs though...

Will enter the fray as a "Gold"

Will probably not book for awhile as I accumulate some points to put together another aaOW award. After spending 330K on the recently finished last award the old account dwindled down mightily. Didn't sink but came close to it.

What do you call expensive Anatol? A few weeks ago JQ had a JQ Lite fare of AUD24.56 each way so a return DRW/SIN/DRW including all taxes was aprrox AUD161.00 return.

If you wanted 20 kilos of checked in luggage you needed to add AUD20.00 each way.

I'm sure you piggy bank could handle that without too much of a drama

Cheers

Oz

Plenty of crocodiles in Thailand (although I think most are in captvity) and I have managed to avoid them so far.
