Gosh, I guess I am not good at knowing where to look for "DO'S" since I just found out about this one! I would like to attend, and have sent an e-mail to [email protected] as requested, to beg for my attendance! I HOPE to see you all.
(Totally coincidentally, I was already scheduled to be in DC on business anyway, so the dates work out perfectly for me, and I already had air, hotel, and car reservations set up!) |
Heads Up to those already on the UA/IAD Tour waitlist on Friday, May 7th ... you should hear from me in the next few days but a quick note that our hosts are working to confirm they could manage the additional people from the list. Keep those fingers and toes crossed :)
USirritated - you are welcome on Friday night for sure, for the other events please check your inbox. Thanks. |
QUESTIONS for MWAA and UA are due on Sunday ... I have received some but not as many as I know are out there. If you don't send me yours, you'll have to hear answers to the ones I've made up :D ... really, we want to use yours.
Even if you aren't attending the tour ... if you have a question, feel free to submit it and then just ask someone who was on the Tour what information was provided in response. Send your questions in to [email protected] anytime during this weekend. Thanks!! |

Wait.... that means you've actually pre-paid for a FT event?
I am expecting another question or two this evening, but the questions in the queue thus far are collated. The list includes 26 questions for MWAA and 14 for UA. >>> The overall MWAA question focus has been on the security set-up, frustration with wheelchairs at the Diamond Lane, the new train, and long-term Parking/shuttle issues. >>> UAs questions are more varied and include some questions about UDU, the ticket counter and desire to talk to knowledgeable humans and not machines and the feedback process, among others. I did throw some extras in there asking how often they wash those blankets and who gets the new white ones Thanks to everyone who contributed a question |

Have they noticed the new white ones, lovely as they are, make the plane look like a hospital death ship or TB sanatorium circa 1928, headed off to outer space?
perspective in there ... funny! |

(photos available) Not to worry, AA´s grey duvets look like a plane full of Soledad prison inmates, especially with the restraining lap belts.

All of this sounds like the product of a wicked funny sick mind! And how long did it take you to think it all up, about 2 minutes flat? Wicked funny! Did I say sick?
An fyi that two people have cleared off the IAD Tour waitlist so far, unfortunately due to cancellations. Bummer for those backing out, great for the folks that cleared. I'm still waiting to hear back to see if I can clear the rest of the waitlist ... will let you know when I find out one way or the other. |

I'll try to get a prints before the Q&A. Right now I'm trying to figure out where the booze is hidden in this MIA Flagship Lounge. BTW, they are passing out the gray AA duvets in the lounge "because it gets really cold in here."

LOL - bring your picture, but remember this is just the IAD station not UA we'll be talking to.
The white blankies, at least while they are new and clean, are much better than the old threadbare, usually dirty and germ ridden, blankets |
I think you're all just kuku. |
So for anyone who might get bored this weekend, I just tripped over this blog post from somewhere with some other ideas of things to do in the area ... (no clue of author or anything else other than the link has interesting info that someone may find a use for!)
