This is a continuation of the original discussion HERE.
Book online at thankyou.com or by phone at 1-877-288-2484 7/24.
Starting September 1, 2019 the complimentary 4th night benefit can be used up to two times per calendar year. Bookings made prior to September 1, 2019, will not count toward your two-stay cap for 2019. Starting September 1, 2019 bookings for the 4th night benefit must be made exclusively by visiting thankyou.com or calling 1 800 THANKYOU. Citi Concierge will no longer handle new 4th night benefit bookings but will continue to support bookings made prior to September 1, 2019. To utilize your benefit through our online travel site, and/or have the option to use your ThankYou points, please visit thankyou.com, select travel in the top menu bar, select hotels, choose hotel designated as “Complimentary 4th Night Eligible”, book at least 4 nights, see savings at checkout. Starting for reservations made on or after July 23, 2017, this benefit will give you the average nightly rate on stays of 4+ nights, and will NOT include taxes.
Reimbursement times vary but seem to have improved in 2017, now about 2 weeks is most common. See this thread for details.

Shades of Green?
Has anyone tried to use the 4th night benefit at Shades of Green? It's a Disney property for military members. Don't have the Prestige yet so can't check myself.....

Do you mind if I were to ask at which properties you booked those two villas? I'm having some back and forth on one and being told supervisors are involved, so I'd be interested to look at the difference between properties that aren't an issue versus those that require more effort with regards to reservations/4th night free benefit calculations & approval.

I tried to book 4 nights with the Hyatt membership rate, but concierge said only the non-member rate can used to get the free breakfast/room upgrades. Any possibility of getting both?

Are you referring to grea breakfast and room upgrades based on your Globalist status with Hyatt?

The Grand Hyatt is a partner hotel, so you can get free breakfast and room upgrade by booking with the Prestige card. But can't take advantage of the world of Hyatt member rate, which is at least $70 cheaper. Wonder if people had luck getting both.

To get those benefits, you will need to book that special rate. For US property, I would say it's not worth it. For a propy in Asia, I would do it for sure.

Several months back, when the web booking interface was set up, there were reports that if you booked online instead of by calling the Concierge you don't get loyalty program points. Is that really true? Are there any recent data points from members of IHG, Hilton, Hyatt, Radisson, etc. who booked using the website about whether or not they earned points?
I'd prefer to book online rather than having to call, but I don't want to risk missing out on the points.

I’m currently at an SPG property and planning to pay for all folio incidentals (food, spa, etc.) on my SPG Amex and only the room/tax/resort fee on the Prestige (amount outlined in the Aspire confirm email). I assume this is fine. Anything I should be aware of?

Does anyone have experience with trying to get Citi Concierge through a third-party site?
I'm trying to book a local hotel chain in Japan; their website is mostly in Japanese and hard to navigate, but it seems to think there are no rooms available. That said, *every* third party booking site (from priceline and expedia to japanican) shows availability and I can book a room there. Would Citi be able to book it through an OTA?

they won't book through third party, but last year they connected me with one of their staff who was a Japan specialist and I presume could read Japanese so that could be useful

I hate how sometimes they don't put on my rewards number and I forget that I had that reservation later, when I change plans (cause it doesn't pull up on Hyatt, or Marriott website). I've had a few cancellation fees due to that. Wish they would be better at it, but I guess it is what it is.

St. Regis has a 4th night free promo going at the moment for many of their properties. As I understand it I should be able to stack this promo with the Citi 4th night free promo as well. Am I correct in this understanding? Thanks!
I've already used this benefit 3 times this year already and it is definitely the best credit card benefit going...saved me $700 bucks already.
