diagnostics) unless covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
■ Used, antique or pre-owned items.
■ Items purchased for resale, professional or commercial use.
■ Land or buildings; housing properties.
■ Plants and live animals.
■ Items that do not come with a manufacturer’s warranty.

Coverage doesn’t apply under these circumstances:
■ You fail to care for or service the item appropriately as required

■ The item has a product defect, recall, or experiences normal wear
and tear where no failure has occurred.
■ The item is damaged because of an act of God, such as a flood,
hurricane, lightning, wind or earthquake.

Which websites qualify for 3X points?

3 ThankYou Points for each $1 spent on purchases made at eligible retail (including department store websites, specialty store websites, warehouse store websites and boutique websites) and travel websites (including online travel agencies, and hotel and airline websites).

3 ThankYou Points for each $1 spent on products and services purchased directly from AT&T, including payment of monthly phone, cable or internet bills.

You'll earn an Anniversary Bonus of 10,000 ThankYou Points after you spend $10,000 in purchases in the prior cardmembership year.

Special note about eBay and PayPal - varies widely as to whether the bonus points are awarded. It seems to vary depending on merchant with no real discernible pattern.
(Ref, Ref, Ref, Ref, Ref, Ref, Ref, Ref, Ref)

Certain Non-Qualifying Purchases. You won’t earn 3X Points for purchases of and payments for medical services, insurance, taxes and government services, real estate, real estate rentals, purchases or reloading of prepaid or gift cards, education, charities and utilities.
You won’t earn 3X Points for purchases from independent wireless dealers, non-AT&T-owned stores, or AT&T resellers unless you are paying for an AT&T service, such as your phone, cable or internet.
(Effective 9/22/2019)

All payments coding as online are hit and miss. Sometimes it codes as online, sometimes it doesn't. YMMV.

Why not just carry both cards? basic level of ATT doesn't have a fee. and note that if one cancels the ATTAM card, you're unlikely to be able to get it back....

Is there any way to buy an AT&T iPhone without an account or service (in store?). I feel like Citi probably doesn't verify service now with the $650 promo (or if they even ever did).

Had this card back when it came out, how are people still getting the Access More (discontinued) version? And even if you product change the free $650 for a phone offer is long dead isn't it?

thinking of downgrading the card to no annual fee card.
the problem is i want to keep the same credit card number, does it change in case i change the product to say preferred or double cash?
is AT&T free version my only option?

Why would you change to Preferred, which earns 1x TYP everywhere, when the AT&T More (free) version earns 2x on the same "online" purchases that the More card earns 2x at, and then 1x everywhere else. I see no advantage to the Preferred over the free AT&T More.

Meanwhile, why do you keep the same card number? If it's for 24-month issue, currently the TYP cards don't have an language saying that opening or closing an AT&T card resets a clock. So converting to a Preferred would risk resetting your TYP 24-month clock, but converting to the free A&T More card wouldn't.

So that seems like two reasons to convert to A&T More rather than to TYP Preferred.

(Note; Citi just reintroduced the non-TYP Diamond Preferred card, so to avoid confusion with that, that's why I keep sticking "TYP" in front of "Preferred".)

Here are some data points for online sites that did provide me with 3x that were not on the list.

Garden of Life
Amazon Prime Now
UnderArmour.com
Barneys.com
crateandbarrel.com
PBTeen
Jinsoon.com
Phlur.com
Westelm.com
bloomingdales.com

Thankfully, this month I received 3x on everything so it makes it easy.

i have this card stuck to my payment schedule in Plastiq & any changes will reset my 1.75% fees, so thinking of moving , now another option i see is Reward+ , looks promising card.
Between AT&T free version is not going to help me much as I have other cards for online purchases. I just need something free to keep my TYP alive,

So I followed the instructions for #3 in the Wiki but the only option was to select Yes or No for AT&T customer ("Non-AT&T Mobility Customer" was not an option). Did not turn on the phone at all, went through the motions, got the email and confirmed unlock request, and received the message

"Before you can unlock this device, the owner must remove it from their account. If this is your account, call 800.331.0500 or 611 from your wireless phone to confirm, and then submit a new request."

Any suggestions how to move forward?

Edit: tried it again this time with the new AT&T phone number and got "Looks like we can't unlock your device just yet. Try your unlock request again after your service has been active for at least 60 days."

So it seems the was shipped as activated.. anyone experience this?

Any recent DPs of PC'ing to ATT or ATTAM? Is it even still possible?

Second, if it's still possible, is it possible to PC from AA Advantage card?

Second, if it's still possible, is it possible to PC from AA Advantage card?
ATTAM has not had any successful DPs for many months now.

ATTA (non-M) is a card you can still apply for, so I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to PC to it. Whether from an AA Advantage card you can, that you may have to test yourself, not many people have been interested in PCing to the AATA (non-M) and therefore we have very few if any datapoints on that.

Technically, this thread isn't even about the ATTA (non-M), but the official thread for the ATTA (non-M) has been pretty dead for a long time.

Btw, I'm using ATTA, rather than ATT, because there are even more AT&T cards. For example, there's an AT&T Universal card, though it doesn't earn extra points on anything, and it's points expire after 5 years (no matter where you move them), and I don't even know if you can PC to that.

I tried moving from ATTAM to R+ but it changes the card number which u might consider if u want to move from AA.

When they converted my old AA Gold to ATTA they reissued all my numbers.

What card did you have that let you keep everything the same?
