Well, I have received my statement for this month and I can confirm that DirecTV does NOT qualify as a 3x purchase. As expected, my AT&T bills (wireless and U-verse internet) were credited as 3x. I may have to look into whether I can bundle my DirecTV with the AT&T bills to get the bonus points.
