  • 100,000 Chase UR points after $15K spend in 3 months, with $95 annual fee (not waived the first year)

Additionally: For those who may be automatically excluded due to 5/24, the in-branch Business Rep can submit the application by Mail on your behalf (this avoids the application going through the computer check that would automatically exclude those who are already at 5/24.) First year's annual fee is not waived.

: Some members may have a referral link and would be very grateful if you would use it. See this thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/credi...ost-first.html

1) Should I apply using the link above or go to a nearby brick and mortar branch?
Sometimes there are better offers to be had in the branch (as referenced above). Some in-branch apps had/have the $95 AF waived 1st yr (ymmv). You can also have your banker check to see if you are pre-approved for this card (green screen on the banker's log in). However, it is likely simpler/easier to do a Chase business credit application Online as applying in-branch often requires providing documentation (proof of business, etc).

2) How do the rewards differ from other INK cards?
The bonus categories on this card are different than other cards in the INK family, notably, this card does NOT get a bonus at Office Supply stores, but DOES get the following:

3 Points per $1 on the first $150,000 spent in combined purchases in the following categories each account anniversary year:

- Travel; including airfare, hotels, rental cars, train tickets, and taxis
- Shipping purchases
- Internet, cable and phone services
- Advertising purchases made with social media sites and search engines

- 1 Point per $1 on all other purchases (with no limits on the number of points you can earn).

Also, notably, it follows the Sapphire Preferred personal card in offering a bonus when using points to book travel using the Ultimate Rewards web site: Points are worth 25% more when you redeem for travel through Chase Ultimate Rewards®. For example, 80,000 points are worth $1,000 towards travel.*

See discussion on using the UR portal, here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/chase...ts-2017-a.html
3) What are the insurance and other benefits provided by this card?
The Benefits Guide is here: https://www.chasebenefits.com/inkpreferred
4) Can I product change from a different INK Card?
Since this card is newly released, options may change in the future, but, at this time, Chase is not permitting product change to Ink Preferred at this time (reported on 11/23/16).
See our ongoing discussion here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/chase...16-onward.html

Sounds like one of those catch-all vague verbiages that Chase & others like to have in the contract just in case, to cover them if they chose to boot someone out of a card or program.

My guess is that were they rules to change in such drastic fashion there'd be more clear warnings from them, if only to minimize backlash from non-churning clients who have had these cards before.

Thanks. I find that exact language quoted in a January 2016 post. The use of the word may allows Chase to use this provision if they choose, and I don't think we have any evidence that they have started to apply it.

I posted a few posts up but:

Applied via BRM on 4/19 for 100k CIP. Went 2 weeks on the status line. Changed today to 30 days. I've seen this infographic http://imgur.com/a/oXlPW but I haven't been on these forums long enough to see someone go 2 wks -> 30 days as it seems to usually be 30 days -> 2 weeks.

I guess I will continue to hold tight . .

Does this card show up in the portal with your other Chase cards once approved?

Thanks.

If you have business version of online account setup, it will show both business and personal cards. However if you only have personal account setup, then it wont show business cards.

I have the 7 - 10 business days on the application status line, the BRM mentioned she'd call in if needed (ie pending or declined) ... it's been 2 days should I ask her to do so? or just wait it out for now? I'm over 5/24.

I would just wait it out for now. or you can try to contact their customer service number and i'm sure they can help you out.

DP: Just called about getting matched to 100k on my CIP. Just said I applied in branch a few months ago for the 80k offer and went in there recently and saw a 100k offer. She said "as long as you met the spending requirement" I'll put in the request for you. Asked me security questions, updated some info, and said the request has been submitted to the marketing department!

Applied in branch 2/25 with a non BRM for the 80k offer with 1st AF waived. Tried to SM before, before meeting the MSR, and was denied

I was approved for this card a week ago, but it still has not showed up in my business online banking account. I'm wondering if I am going to have a problem here?

Is there a way to check how many points you get from a transaction? On the personal card account online, if you click open up details on a transaction, it will show you the amount of UR points you earned. It doesn't seem to do it on the Ink Business Preferred.

Go to UR Reward portal and see more detail for each transaction. It should show it there

I was approved yesterday according to phone line, but also has not shown in online account. I'm wondering since it was a paper application submitted through the BRM, it will need to be added manually? Was thinking of calling and asking but kinda wanted card in hand first in case they want to ask more questions. I'm 24/24.

How many of the 24 cards are in the last 6/3/1 months? Chase has been cracking down on people with many recent cards even aft landing approves a new card, hopefully this won't be you. They seem to close all Chase accounts in such instances, not just new ones. Some people have been able to call and get them reinstated.
