However, later the same day I also requested the credit by Secure Message (for "baggage fees) and it was approved. Very YMMV now but still doable. 2/10/2017
Southwest Airlines GCs work fairly easily. I've generally bought them for $150 and said they're excess baggage fees.

I sent a secure message asking for $15 EBCI reimbursement, and received a boiler-plate reply with the T&C listing what could be reimbursed - EBCI was not on the list, so it was denied.
My husband is the primary cardholder, so I just need to decide if $15 is worth the hassle for him to call in and ask.

Has anyone tried to get travel ctedit for the following scenario when booking norwegian air:
Take a screenshot of the lowfare option but book the lowerfare+ option which includes seat selection, checked baggage, free meals.
Submit a request for the fare difference to be reimbursed as travel credit.
I called CS and they said they were not sure. Tehnically lowfare+ is an upgrade from lowfare.
I sent a SM but they are saying they cannot do that. They keep sending me the boiler plate reply that only certain things are included but when I remind them this is an upgrade they just send me the same standard reply again.

Check out yesterday from the Montreal Ritz Carlton after using my wife's three free nights. What a fantastic place to use our certificates! Good location as well, not far from old section.
Booked a Superior room, whatever was allowed for free night certs. Was contacted by the hotel to double check our arrival since we were taking a connection after red eye so arriving 11 am ish. Spoke to a wonderful Veronica who informed us she was trying to get us upgraded but hotel was fully committed.
Ended up we were delayed three hrs in JFK and I got a call an hour before boarding, she'd been able to upgrade us. Junior suite, fantastic room! She was there to greet us on arrival, everyone was so wonderful and nice.
We'd never have been treated like this at other Ritz Carltons. And we are only gold as well making her efforts even more unbelievable. For comparison I stayed three nights at the San Francisco location. Paid for a club level Room the first night then used two free certs the other two. I tried to use a certicate for club level and or pay extra to stay in the room the next two nights. Was told could, at $250 per night extra, basically just for club level use. Ridiculous! I've stayed at the hotel since opening two stays on average per year as well. You'd have thought that would have been considered.....
Stay at the Ritz if in Montreal. Maison Boulud downstairs, fantastic as well!

If it's a domestic flight, just add your lap infant at the airport, or after purchase.

Has anyone matched into the 3 nights via secure message after signing up for the two night offer? I'm ready to apply and all the three night links are dead....

Has anyone had luck matching the three nights $5k spend offer recently?
edit: just read the thread and looks like they're still matching. Thanks.

Does this card ever offer a points bonus for sign up? I rather take the points and use them across Ritz, Marriott, and SPG based on my travel patterns.
