However, later the same day I also requested the credit by Secure Message (for "baggage fees) and it was approved. Very YMMV now but still doable. 2/10/2017
Southwest Airlines GCs work fairly easily. I've generally bought them for $150 and said they're excess baggage fees.

Anyone used their free nights at half moon bay? What was your experience like? I was told that they would only apply to the guest house rooms when I called, so I had to change my reservation to the guest house. It seems others didn't have that experience when booking their free nights.

Well I saw a prepaid rate for a ritz that was 35% cheaper then the Z34 rate. Tried to book it over the phone, not surprisingly not eligible, making the club upgrades hit and miss

I was charged for $450 AF after first year of 1500 CL. Can someone help with my options? What should i ask for? Im okay with letting go of the card if need be but is there a way around AF or having them lower it?

CARD Act only protects you with first year, your only choice now is to call for retention offer (may not want to draw attention to your account though), pay the AF, or cancel
