Southwest Airlines GCs work fairly easily. I've generally bought them for $150 and said they're excess baggage fees.

This year I've spent the $10k to maintain Ritz gold BUt Since I have Amex plat, which comes with automatic gold, I can get Marriott gold via the SPG match, or is this a one time deal? I'm hoping I can maintain Marriott gold via this route and not have to put $10k on the Ritz since I've got better earning cards that I'd like to use

To receive the authorized user bonus, does that person actually need to make a purchase? The language could be construed to mean that any purchase (on the account) qualifies after activating the AU card. My understanding is that the card number would be the same as the original card. Thanks.

How long does it typically take for the airline fee credit to post to your online account? Called in and was approved for $75 AA credit, but haven't seen any credit posted in the last 2 days yet.

Has anyone tried booking any foreign LCC tickets or buying their gift cards and using the travel credit?

If I book for someone else (family) using the card, can I gift upgrades certificates to them, and can they also get the $100 credit for booking a multi-night stay?
