Ritz-Carlton Rewards Visa Infinite (closed to new applications)

Things qualifying/not qualifying under $300 annual travel credit

Southwest Airlines GCs work fairly easily. I've generally bought them for $150 and said they're excess baggage fees.

Ditto. Does Platinum Elite allow Club level upgrades on the free night certificates? And if so, at the time of booking or "subject to availability"?

FWIW, my wife's account shows her as Platinum Elite and she/we didn't spend anything near $10K. Hope it sticks around for a while.

When we used to spend 75k on this card we got Plat 75. Not only are the suite upgrade ratios terrible but some stuff like UA Silver is no longer included.

Per TPG there are many people who got Platinum that shouldnt have and marriott knows it and they are going to fix it. So until they fix all their issues I would suggest to wait and see.

Folks on reddit that inadvertently got new Platinum from Amex SPG Gold -> MR Gold have been downgraded as of tonight, per recent posts. I'm still showing new MR Platinum from the Ritz.

Weird. Got my MR gold renewed til Feb 2019 for spending $10K on the RC Visa in 2017. Still showing me as Gold Elite.

Got my expired cert reinstated the day before the merger calling the marriott line (failed on the ritz and chase lines previously). Read a few DP's about it in the comments on an old blog post and went for it

Same here. I was really worried that I hadn't gotten plat and actually got the glitched platinum. At this point I'm pretty sure this is sticking around, although I don't know for how long. Will have to call Marriott in a couple weeks and see if they can check the status end date.

The misses was a Amex Plat SPG match that was showing Platinum with both SPG and Marriott in the app. Like the above post said, she went back to gold when she checked last night.

As you may know, Delta typically offers the option of upgrading flights with miles/cash during and after booking a ticket at Delta.com. Does anyone know if tickets bought through the Visa Discount site have the ability to upgrade with miles when viewing the ticket on Delta.com?

Damn mine dropped to Gold as well. I'll have to contact them after all of this blows over and tell them that I did 10k on the Ritz and see what happens.
