Has anyone recently had the 50K bonus points post and count towards CP? I just got the business card and am trying to capitalize on having gotten the personal card a few months ago. Don't want to go all out on getting the remaining 7k points or so if not needed.

I've not heard of anyone not having them count. I'm sure if/when they stop counting, it'll be all over the blogs.

I want to get both cards but I already have a Chase Rapid Rewards card from like 4 or 5 years ago.

Should I close that card first? I was a little bit hesitant in closing it because it's one of my oldest accounts. But then, paying $69 per year it's kinds of stupid.

What do you guys recommend? If I close my current card, how long should I wait to apply for these two 50k cards?

I waited too long to apply for the biz version and now the 50K offer is gone. Does anyone know how frequently the 50K offer comes around? I already have the personal and needed the biz to earn a CP this year. TIA

It's a pretty frequent cycle. Just give it a month or two.

Thanks; guess I'll just have to wait and hope something comes up before year-end.

I found an invite in my mailbox from July and called Chase. The CSR said the invitation number was still good, but it was for the personal not the biz card so she said no dice.

Has anyone successfully applied for a biz card using a personal invite or vice versa?

Two different products entirely. No dice.

The flip side of this is that you should apply for the version of the card you DON'T have an invite link for. I applied for the Premier because I've got a pile of personalized 50k offers for the Plus (all of which still work).

Do you mind explaining why? TIA

Because since I applied for the Premier (which I don't have a targeted link for), now I can apply for the Plus at a later date using the 50k link I've got, without having to worry about whether a public 50k offer is running at that time or not.

That makes perfect sense...did not occur to me...duh!

The offers come frequently for the personal version, but what I really need is the biz version...how do I get targeted?
