Confused about Earning
The Asiamiles.com site says that any flights on AA earn a minimum of 100 percent earning. However, the Cathay USA site seems to imply that there are certain fare classes which qualify for only half. Who is correct?
Also, do AA flights earn a minimum of 100 percent for the purposes of qualifying for MPC status separate from Asiamiles?
Thank you for your help.

And just to be clearer still, there are some AA subclasses which do not earn AsiaMiles. The list on the AsiaMiles site here: http://www.asiamiles.com/en/earn/air...118602,00.html lists those that earn. But subclasses not listed (e.g. O) do not earn, and Q does not earn for tickets booked in Europe.

It was too easy for me to overlook omitted AA fare classes from the AsiaMiles list because the list looked so comprehensive (esp. compared to the list they provided for BA).
