EXTREMELY impressed with MPC customer service

EXTREMELY impressed with MPC customer service

this happened a couple months back but i simply must post about this ...

i had 2 seperate itineraries in Y -- one had an HKG-JFK segment, the other had an SFO-HKG segment.

i upgraded myself on those 2 segments online using asia miles (40k + 35k), and a couple days later, an MPC staff called me in europe and told me that if i combined those 2 segments into a round trip upgrade, it would only run me 70k miles, 5,000 miles less.

i obviously had no idea that this was possible since they were on seperate itineraries, but that someone from MPC would look at what i was doing and then letting me know i could upgrade more efficiently ??!

all i can say is i am duly super impressed.

That is impressive. I have to admit, my few dealings with MPC have also left me nothing short of impressed ... and I'm currently in the lowest tier in MPC. (But I'm hoping not for much longer. )
