Almost correct - just a minor point. Status is based on MPC miles or sectors, not Asiamiles. Whilst for the most part they are the same for flights flown, there can be differences eg CX did a promotion recently with 2 for 1 Asiamiles in Y. A HKG-TPE flight in Y would in that case earn 501 MPC miles, but 1002 Asiamiles.
