CX J Menu 2024
Cathay Pacific Business Class Menu Thread for the year of 2024
Another year has arrived and I will continue to volunteer to organize the title thread and put all the information in some kinds of formats. Since many people always ask what CX is serving on a particular route, here is why this thread is set up. I know some of you don't care about it, but for those who care about it, hopefully it will be a helpful guide to present and future CX flyers.
If you don't want to type out the menu, feel free to scan it, feel free to take a picture from your iPhone and then email it to [email protected], I will type it out. Just make sure that you include the flight number and months of travel!

Basically economy class quality and quantity meals being plated in china was served. Both the quality and quantity are below par, considered the amount that I paid for this roundtrip J ticket to and from Taipei. Croissant was the only choice of bread and the purser did not come around with preserves after the meal was served 20 minutes ago. There was no additional breads offered. I think a bread basket with at least three choices of breads should be offered. China Airlines and EVA Airways offered a superior meal in terms of both quantity and quality on the same route.

The Louise dish exceeded my expectation. Finally a tenderloin dish on CX flight that is not overcooked. Western breakfast was mediocre at best, especially when you consider you paid tens of thousands of dollars on the flight but the breakfast was identical to that of short haul economy. Finding inspiration from First Class lounges, I don't think Egg Benedict is feasible, but maybe CX could give Belgium waffle a try? It tastes really good at both the Wing and the Pier.

Apparently CX837 YVR-HKG (2pm departure ex-YVR, 7pm arrival at HKG) serves lunch and breakfast these days which I found out when I took this flight last month. I remember they used to serve dinner as the second meal on this flight before the pandemic. Each to their own but to me it sucks that they changed it to breakfast. For what it's worth, no changes in the timing of each meal at least in J (1st meal served shortly after takeoff and 2nd meal served around 2 hours before landing).
Wonder if the second meal is breakfast for other North American flights arriving at HKG in the evening as well.

I was served Papaya, Kiwi and (i think) Papaya on LHR-HKG last week - the three fruits which I dislike the most!
