New apps are available. First impression is that this is… worse than before? On the Cathay Pacific app, it feels like a weird mix of design/styles and some things now bounce you to the website. Maybe that makes them more functional though - TBD.

Website upgrade is done poorly. Only some pages - e.g. the main pages - are in the upgraded themes, if you click around a little more you get redirected to the old layout/theme.
Given how much time they have had to do this redesign, truly shocking... the website is very amateurish.

Apps upgraded. They made me confirm I am going to be Cathay member (am I not already).
Then asked if I want to use my mobile for login (no, since I'm controlling multiple accounts with one mobile).
Then it seems like the old apps.

Agreed. And the new choice for green is off-putting, especially when the logo remains in the old green (which I prefer). Can't imagine how this update passed so many levels of approval.

It is really sad. The first thing that I tried was Timetable. Obviously the comedian who prepared that option has no idea what a timetable is. I want to see what flights are operating in a week or a month between specific points. Instead I get a booking sheet that only has one single day and asks me what class of travel I am looking for. I did not bother to continue further. I want top quality airline service. I am not looking for a bunch of hotels, shops, massage and god knows what else.
