So just 6 more months... unlikely they would extend it, otherwise they would've just put year end.

Wondering what the new rates would be. They advertised the 4%-2%-1% benefit pretty heavily when it launched so it would be a big blow if it changes.

It's still possible to get paper (banking and credit card) statements for free? Do you still have access to estatement history if you get paper statements? Any other banks still provide paper statements for free? I actually prefer estatements but regularly print out some for expenses. Thanks!

HSBC credit card statements are free if you opt out

HSBC banking statements are charged. If you want free banking paper statements, I think BoC is the only way to go.

You lose access to historical estatements if you changed over to paper statements.

Also found the whole thing does not apply to over-65s.

HSBC Red Hot Online and Overseas 2.4% additional spending rewards extended for 6 months until 30 June 2021 only. I guess changes are coming or perhaps they want to review it mid-year to see if its worth continuing?

Also:
- one more new round of HSBC Mannings 1 Jan-28 Feb https://www.hongkongcard.com/forum/show/33596?page=1
- i-Card now excludes Alipay and Wechat Pay https://www.hongkongcard.com/forum/show/33535?page=4 #99. Still includes BoC Pay so if you want max miles from BoC Pay/Unionpay App that is still a way to go (= CCB CUP, both $1.5/AM, $1,111.12/month limit on the BoC and $5,555.55 limit on the CCB CUP)
--- miles on Alipay and Wechat proper is more of a headache - the obvious solution is to go for CCB JD Card 4% cash rebate. I think the nearest alternative is SCB AM $4/AM, but no way am I valuing AM at $0.16 cost per AM.

No additional bonus for HSBC Premier Credit Card this time around it seems. Anyone know what the $/AM rate is for the Premier card during this promo? And what the spend limit is at that rate? Trying to work out how much spend (if any at all) I should put on this card here in Singapore during each phase.

2.4% ($4.16/AM) without 6X and 4.4% ($2.27/AM) with 6X.

VS gets 1.2% more (5.6% or $1.78/AM)

Every % is 10AM per $100 eligible spending.

HSBC premier card just seems so useless..

you would default put online/overseas into HSBC RED without the 6x no?

HSBC was the highest earning card during this bonus last year, but it appears it no longer has that status.

Thank you Percy! $2.27/AM would be $1.50 / KF or Avios right? This still makes it better to use as a general spending card (vs local cards) for me here in Singapore, until the spend limit is reached. I'm more likely to transfer into KF than into AM moving forward.
