After I managed to complete my booking, I opted for a 24 hour hold. But when I tried to access the booking again, I am faced with this ..
Due to internal system error, you are unable to proceed further. Please close the current browser and try again. (may not be empty) Due to internal system error, you are unable to proceed further. Please close the current browser and try again. (may not be empty) I even tried the link they sent me in my email. Pressed enter, and all I see is the rotating circle... I cannot access my booking, no matter how many other browsers I try using. This is so frustrating. |
Working their website feels too much like my line of work (gonna change that soon). Does using Chrome in incognito mode help? Helps me sometimes.

Another example occurs of the dysfunctional redesign. I was looking at flights between Amsterdam and Asia and noticed that a "First" option was offered, which surprised me.
When I clicked through further, though still described as "First Standard" and presumably offering some First benefits e.g. First lounge access in Hong Kong and higher Asia Miles accrual, all four flights (Amsterdam to Hong Kong and intra-Asia) were in business class, with the legend "(First not available)". For this, the First price was 6,387 Euros, compared to 2,281 for Business Flex. This is pretty close to misrepresentation in my view - even with small caveats explaining that there aren't first seats, if one sells a ticket labelled as "First" at a significant price premium, it ought to be in first. |
Just trying waitlist several redeem flights, keeping got network error on last step on payment.
Come on, its Yr2017 and why the online booking is still so unreliable, maybe that's the reason why CX cannot catch up revenue. |

Hi,
I am facing exactly the same issue now. How did you resolve this? and what was the issue? Pls help. Thanks!! The line you quoted was from my July 2016 trip experience. At airport check-in, the AA FF# was on the system and the paper BPs. The agents in YYZ were far nicer and helpful than in HKG, but whatever. Looking at my phone, I see that I somehow managed to check-in again and get the mobile BPs for all for flights on that trip - but the AA FF and OW status never showed on the mobile BPs. I still have no idea why the website, the iPad etc did not work at the times I tried. All the miles were credited properly to AA though. Just did another trip with 4 sectors on CX. Checked in via App. All 4 BPs added just fine to Wallet and all showed my AA and OW E status. All credited properly on AA. Can you be more specific with your question ...were you trying to check-in on the website or mobile and what isn't working. Thanks. |
Cathaypacific.com MMB down since 08:00 this morn
|
seems ok for me now.
on a side note, I'm getting this error message when I try to check in. "Due to certain flight restrictions, online check in is not possible at this time. Please proceed to the airport where our check in staff will be happy to help." |
Yesterday, I am not even able to book flights using my PC. The app works though.
|
I couldn't specify a "To" city on the front page earlier this afternoon.
|
The capcha on the flight certificate page was broken earlier today.

Is anyone else having trouble getting the mobile boarding pass to be sent to apple wallet?
I can OLCI on the app, and can see the mobile boarding pass on a website, but "technical problems" are preventing it from being added to apple wallet. |

Site is down again. I can log in on my app but bookings are not available...and they expire in an hour. This is disgraceful. |

Sorry for calling out an old threat again...
Anyone keep getting CAPTCHA verification request at CX.com recently? Every time I've done the CAPTCHA it will kick me out back to the home page, asking me to re-do everything (if I'm not being asked to re-do the CAPTCHA in the middle of the process again) Worse is... Just now I've done the CAPTCHA then I've no way to go to my MMB page... It just keep showing me the "Manage Booking" page that asks me to input my name and booking reference / e-tix number...... Logout and re-login then everything backs to normal again... p.s. Yes I'm using my Co's network... ...because I'm going to fly for business! |

Yes, this is super annoying! It happened to me so many times last night and again this morning. "Fun game" my (expletive)!
It really is terrible. |
It is really terrible that the verification only valid for one entry of search, and then it will pop up again... which will bring me back to the home page after the verification. Terrible

I expect the CAPTCHA problem goes worse tomorrow when many secretaries and office staff go check for the fanfares...... I've stop searching flights online and calling 3333 directly today.... (ain't this stupid as the website is designed to reduce workload for hotline?)
For MMB, now I can only access via MPC My account -> See all bookings.... |

I am also having the same issue with "Manage My Booking". I sign in to the website and go immediately to Manage my Booking. There I need to sign in again. It is totally redundant as a security feature and a waste of my time.

Also around T-24 on my inbound flight, the itinerary disappeared on "Manage My Booking", is it just me? |
US website problems ?
Hello again:
Just took my first look at the CX website and cannot get any information out of it. It seems to lock up when I get to the suggested dates/money squares. Is this website problematic, or am I doing something wrong? Thank you |

After an AC change I can't make a seat reservation anymore. OWE number is included but it shows "seat reservation at checkin". It's an BA Award ticket.
My colleague with another booking on this flight has no problems...hmmm |
Can't access my bookings. When I hit the manage tab it asks me to login and goes blank. Called Cathay and they blame it on some internet cable damage that's possibly affecting their site.

When I access from a US computer it hardly ever happens. From my desktop PC at work in Shenzhen I get the blank page about 85% of the time. Sometimes it seems to work better if after sign-in on the main web page, I drop down the menu next to my name that shows the quick MPC account balance. From there is a like to Manage Bookings. For some reason this seems to work better than using the Manage Booking tab on the main page. Also from the Marco Polo Club account summary page, there is a section labeled 'My Next Flight'. Clicking the 'View/Update' link seems to work better. But this is just all anecdotal evidence. The fact we all know is that their web site and mobile app are fraught with little frustrations like this. |

Got this message after OLCIing, what may be the problem?
Check-in for your flight has been successful. Please visit our check-in counter at the airport to collect your boarding pass. [W12Z00233] |
I wrote "the club" complaining about captcha on the 4th and received a reply on the 8th saying a more detailed reply will be completed within 14 days.
I consider Captcha on the website "broken" in its implementation I will try to remember to update here when I get a reply. Not just wandering Fred |
Does anyone have trouble accessing CX website using Firefox? I tried to go on the website just now and this was what I got.... :(
"Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.cathaypacific.com. Invalid OCSP signing certificate in OCSP response. Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_INVALID_SIGNING_CERT The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem." Didn't they have some website 'upgrade' work carried out this weekend? Then I tried Safari and it worked. Another 'enhancement' on the website....not! |

I made 3 different cx reservations with aa miles in the last couple of weeks. On the first two I initially was able to to them on mmb. Just made a new one a couple of days ago and have been unable to access any on them on mmb. Any thoughtsw?

Keep getting this: Due to internal system error, you are unable to proceed further. Please close the current browser and try again. Should this problem persist, please contact our Global Contact Centres. (err_mmb_100) Have you tried to call Global Contact Centres? Good luck! |
