have i just missed something very big, or being dumb
on the conversion page it says 20K MR points for 3,500 CC points
so 100K MR points = 42,000 ba miles?

Tragically yes, you have missed something. Specifically the line that says 125,000 MR points swaps to 35,000 CC points. At least you're taking it humbly

The link is https://marriott.com/rewards/moreRew...00&elite=false (ie TO5 rather than TO2)

How long will this feast continue before a little flag pops up somewhere to tell someone that something odd is happening?

As I posted earlier, as long as Marriott is getting more from you than it is paying to Tesco (which it certainly is, given you are paying £650 for £350 of Tesco vouchers!) then it should carry on.

And as long as Tesco pays BA less than Marriott pays Tesco, Tesco won't care either!

(Note to all: the £ has started to weaken against the $, so if you buy now you won't get quite as good a deal as I calculated in post 2)

Very true...but Goldsmiths are surely going to take an interest when SWMBO & I turn up with over £4,000 of 'Deals' vouchers each to buy our new watches!

As much as I love miles I suspect this is an even better scam...currently coming out at a 54% discount on the direct purchase price...albeit that one would expect to negotiate a reduction on the ticket price for a cash purchase.

express service

Has anyone dried the EXPRESS SERVICE to exchange MR's for TESCO CCP?
iIwould like to know three things.

1 How much does it cost?
2 Can you still exchange them at the rate of 125k MR's for 35000 TCCP?
3 How quick are the points on your TESCO account?

Thank you & have a good day.

1. Can you get Express Service on Tesco conversion? In any event, why bother? You still won't get your Tesco vouchers until February.

2. This is a permanent offer, not a temporary one. You've been able to convert to Tesco for a couple of years.

3. I did a transfer in May and it took a week or so - not long.

How many times befor MAY did you send MR's to TESCO?
If the link was in place from a past transfur then it may only take a week, but as this is my first time & i am running short of BA miles i would very much like to have them in my account in FEB

Never.

However, does anyone who made a transfer in the last week or so want to say how long it took for them to arrive?
