BUGS
1. Promotion to Gold Guest List (Markie)
2. More Gold Upgrades for 2 than there should be (Markie)

Has anyone figured out how I can make a booking for (only) a household account member?
I can select that I want to book for another person, however it keeps my details in as the one for whom the booking is and I can't change these.

When you reach the name field with your name already showing as the traveller, click on 'Is the payment cardholder travelling on this booking' and click NO. You will then get a drop down menu of the other names in the account from which to choose. You can then proceed to pay and still use your card to pay.

I presume that you're booking an avios ticket.
When you reach the name field with your name already showing as the traveller, click on 'Is the payment cardholder travelling on this booking' and click NO. The way you describe it, is how it used to work. Unfortunately for me this is not working anymore. When clicking on "no", the traveller details remain mine and unchangeable...

I wonder whether your household account was somehow corrupted in the recent IT changes involving Household accounts. I feel for you.

And it looks the bug has been around for years: Why can we not book a reward flight for another person on BAEC?

I still cant log in to the app......emailed BA and response as below today in case it helps any one. My IOS is up to date ,I have reinstalled the app, changed password etc.....my better half has no problem logging in.

I am very sorry to hear you are having issues logging into your account. This is a known issue that has been logged with our IT team and is still being looked into. Currently we do ask members to ensure they are using the most up to date version of the app, if your phone has any pending system updates this can also cause issues. When logging into the app, we also ask members to use their membership number as their log in ID instead of the registered email, as some members do have emails registered to other accounts (for example any member under the age 18 can use the same email).
Unfortunately this is all I will be able to advise at this stage, I have passed your details on to our IT team as currently on our system we are showing no unsuccessful log in attempts for your account, it may be that the BA app is not registering your log in attempts at all.
Please accept my sincere apologies for any disappointment and inconvenience this may have caused.

I know it is not the point and BA really need to sort this out, but if you want avios for your meal you could look on the Aer Lingus estore to see if it is on there and then transfer any avios earned to BA later.

I can't move Avios from BA to Iberia at the moment, it returns an error message: Combine my Avios is not available at the moment. Please try again later
