Crew bemusement last night as the main desk was boarded solely through M1L - meaning passengers walking through the F cabin.
Wasn't a massive issue for those in F, but there was a lot of shuffling between passengers while the crew attempted to deliver their pre takeoff service!
The DXB First room was rammed with 18 people (despite 14 in F). I've never seen the bar stools needed, but they were very much in action last night!

I think you will find keeping them away from F is predominantly about protecting the other passengers from being exposed to the oddballs in F. It’s for their own good

I think you will also find that many F pax secretly (or not so secretly) very much enjoy the experience of the plebs walking through the F cabin and seeing how the better half live.

The return working BA106 on Wed 20 has been cancelled, and replaced by a new flight BA110 in the same timings. We have seen BA do this before : when BA replace an aircraft with a smaller one, they deal with the resulting oversell with a 'cancel and rebook', with the hope that some of the excess passengers will move themselves, for free, to other flights.

My 107 to Dubai is only approx 45 mins late so far. Flighty isn’t showing a tail number yet so plenty of opportunities for this to improve or replicate the dreadful performance of the last few weeks. CCR is crammed by the way. Never seen it this busy.

It wouldnt surprise me if this is in part down to Ramadan, with fewer people visiting the region - at least until the Easter holidays.

Question for DXB regulars re arrival into DXB
I am arriving into DXB on the BA105 later this week and now need to head straight to a meeting (within a couple of hours) after arrival. Are there any shower facilities (free or paid for) at the airport that anyone recommends? Or is my best bet to simply head straight to check in at hotel and ask to use facilities there?
I am assuming that there is no BA/ One World arrivals facility for status pax.
Thanks in advance.
