List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

Maybe it's an AENA thing, ACE have had some equally spurious entry requirements in the last few years from status only and not CE to CE and not status seemingly changing as the wind blows.

Question Lounge access at SCL for BA Silver, Gold or flying in F or J

Flying BA club with the family from SCL to LHR and was wondering if we would get lounge access in Santiago?

I’ve checked the oneworld website and it would seem that we wouldn’t be able to access either of the available lounges, since it states that only passengers travelling on Iberia, Qantas or American are allowed entry.

Can anyone confirm?
Brief update on this:

1 - Wrote to BAEC and they couldn't give me a straight answer, referring me to the Oneworld website for information. The website offered the following information:

Andes Lounge:

Access Airlines

Business Class American Airlines
First Class Admirals Club members must present membership card and boarding pass at lounge check-in counter for same-day departure on an
Sapphire Tier American Airlines operated flight.
Emerald Tier

LATAM VIP Lounge:

Access Airlines

Business Class Iberia
First Class Qantas
Sapphire Tier
Emerald Tier Access for eligible customers traveling on these oneworld member airlines only.

2) Called customer service here in Chile and amazingly got through. A very pleasant and helpful representative informed me after a short time on hold that BA Silver, Gold and those flying F or J have access to the LATAM VIP Lounge.

3) Contacted BA on Twitter and they replied after approximately 24 hours telling me that I would be able to access the Andes Lounge.

It's all rather confusing!

EDIT: just visited www.oneworld.com again and they have now added BA to the airlines allowed into the Andes Lounge. Still don't know who to believe. I guess we'll find out in December...

There are some changes coming at LHR but the App is to remain. The Club lounges will have more help-yourself service but First will see assisted service, particularly with the provision of hot food.

I think that may be a net improvement over pre covid?

Now in T5 South GC Lounge not to busy.

At least you can help yourself to Croissants, Biscuits, Hot Drinks and Pop now with a bit of fruit, not as good as Jersey but getting there.

In the First lounge does this mean that drinks will go back to self service or will there also be an option to carry on as is via the app? I've got quite used to and quite like it! Either is great. The only option I'm not keen on is having an assisted bar where you have to go there, ask and be served a drink.

Agent probably confused BA Silver (sapphire) with IB Silver (ruby)...

I am a BA Silver and will depart LAX later this week on Finnair. Does anyone know whether I can access the Star Alliance by virtue of my BA status?

I stand corrected, but my understanding is no you don't as you are travelling on Finnair, so you can use whoever they have contracted.

hi

I think post 3319 upthread suggested that sfo was expected to reopen the week of 4th October. Awaiting confirmation on this though

Couldn't find any info about OTP in the wiki, oneworld website states MasterCard Business Lounge for QR only, https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location=OTP, does this mean BA has no lounge or vouchers for F&B at all?
