List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

The Sakura lounge is open 16:00-20:00 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays (around current JL flight departure times). The lounge is closed outside of these times, and the First Class lounge is temporarily closed every day. https://www.jal.co.jp/jp/en/info/2020/inter/200318/

Any plans for the ORD lounges to reopen? Both flights are running now and there is absolutely nothing in T5 so would be great to access those again.

Poor showing by BA here in Geneva today. No lounge access. No priority check in, only one line with two agents that is moving very slowly. Meanwhile the KLM and Airfrance counters have priority check in and lounge access..

Just to update. The priority pass app says access to the airfrance lounge is only for those with flights departing from the French sector however I was able to use it with my BA boarding pass with no issues

Just missed it by a couple days. I ended up using my priority pass and going to the Primeclass lounge which had much better food than I have had at the Aspire lounges. Well, at least since they stopped serving the currywurst.

Prague lounge is on contract with BA again very recently - just entered today after being informed at check in. Was expecting no lounge so it was a nice surprise as it's a nice lounge with excellent apron view.

I can confirm the DAA lounge has reopened as I’m in it now. Check-in is now on the departure level and rather slow (though not as slow as the BA Check-in). Very limited food options compared to pre-covid (and it wasn’t that great previously). If the airport isn’t crowded the Starbucks or the restaurant area before it is likely a better choice.

Also you’ll need proof of vaccination to get a seat at the landside food court area should you arrive before the Check-in counter opens (2 hours before a flight only).

Gatwick

Sorry if I’ve missed any recent update but does anyone have any idea when BA Gatwick lounges will re-open and if you think it’s worth a punt booking to fly Club from Gatwick next summer - as I definitely want lounge access if I book club. Thanks!

The terminal that the BA lounges are located is currently closed so you’ll need that to reopen first before taking into consideration what services BA will be running out of LGW next year. There’s a BA at Gatwick thread on here that should have more info. Currently club passengers get access to a third party lounge.

Welcome to FT Milly Bakerfield and great to see your first post on here.

Currently the south terminal is closed and that would be the one BA use, and where the lounges are. At the moment all BA flights are in the north terminal, but they are providing access to the Club Aspire lounge in there.

I think the BA lounges won't open until at least BA move back to the south terminal, which at a guess may be next summer, but tbh who can really predict that far ahead.

Karfa thanks so much! Really appreciate your helpful response. Just frustrating as I have a companion voucher to use, the Heathrow flights I wanted have just gone so it’d be Gatwick & I’d be so angry if it turns out we can’t get lounge access. Though really positive to hear we could at least use the Aspire lounge, would be very interested to hear from anyone who had used this recently and their experience.

Best to check over in the Gatwick thread. Feedback on there.

VIE

Hi all trip coming up VIE to LHR. Confused about lounges and location. Never been through VIE before. One world website says sky lounge terminal 3. BA leave from terminal 1? How easy/ seamless is using this lounge. Thanks in advance.

No lounge in SIN T1. The airport prior to BA12 departure on 13 Sep was so depressing - just a trickle of students going to UK for start of the university term.

Only 6 out of possible 56 passengers in Club - so a very socially distanced flight.

FWIW they gave every Club passenger First amenity kits instead - though unsure if this was in any way related to earlier no lounge access.
